22.01.2022 Today we celebrate St Florian's Day, also known as International Fire Fighters' Day St Florian's Day is a day to recognise and honour the sacrifices that our Firies make to ensure our communities are protected. I especially take this opportunity to again say a big thank you to all the Firies for their selflessness, bravery and dedication during the recent bushfires that affected our local communities. ... It is because they went above and beyond, no lives or homes were lost. So today, especially on this International Fire Fighters' Day - We honour and thank them!

21.01.2022 Today's Budget is a win for all the people of East Hills! This year's record Budget has been built on eight year's of hard work. Our State has the lowest unemployment rate and record investment in infrastructure, roads, transport and much more. This is just an overview of what this budget means for us ... Widening of Henry Lawson Drive: $100 million upgrade - delivering what Labor couldn't! Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital Upgrade: $25 million upgrade and expansion of the Emergency Department plus additional funding for the planning of future works! Increase in services on the T8 Airport East Hills Line and upgrade of signalling and technology Increase in frontline health and emergency services staff including nurses, midwives, doctors, allied health workers, paramedics and call centre staff. Free Apprenticeships: $285 million to fund fee-free apprenticeships! Payroll Tax: Lifted from $750k to $1 million - a great win for local small businesses, helping them employ more staff. Mental Health: $2.1 billion record funding for mental health infrastructure, including more early intervention teams. Early Childhood Education: NSW will subsidise all 3 year olds in community preschools, an Australian first, providing 600 hours of quality preschool education! Creative Kids Rebate: $100 voucher for cultural and learning activities outside of school, building upon the successful Active Kids Rebate. NSW Baby Bundle: Providing new parents with essential items to assist in their newborn's early health and development And more! 14.01.2022 The electorate of East Hills was at its best today, demonstrating that the ANZAC Spirit is still alive and strong. From the dawn service at Panania Cenotaph and Padstow, to Revesby. We all came together to commemorate and pay our respects to our Diggers past and present. To honour and remember the sacrifice of our service men and women, who gave so much so that we can have the freedom we enjoy today. ... Lest We Forget.

07.01.2022 Well that's right, it's official! Henry Lawson Drive will be widened from the M5 to the Meccano Set! It was great to have the Treasurer, Dominic Perrottet, out in East Hills this morning to announce $100 million for the widening of Henry Lawson Drive. This road is a daily nightmare for many in our local community, who find themselves stuck in traffic rather than using their time for the things they enjoy. ... I've been working hard over many years, stressing the need for this upgrade, and I'm glad we're finally getting on with the job. I would also like to thank all those who participated in my petition and who contacted me for helping secure this great outcome for all of us in East Hills! We did it!
