25.01.2022 Here with Edward at Annandale Central booth handing out How To Vote cards. Come and say hello.

23.01.2022 Under Labor, Queensland has the worst business confidence in the country. Only the LNP has a plan for jobs. Change the government to get Queensland working again.

22.01.2022 Mundingburra booth is a great spot to escape the heat this afternoon. Thanks Jodi for your hospitality & assistance today.

17.01.2022 Let’s get Queensland working again! An LNP government will invest over $1.3 billion to provide more nurses, paramedics, doctors and allied health professionals in every corner of this state. Our investment in more frontline health workers will improve patient care, ease the pressure on our hospitals and create more jobs.... Only the LNP will build a stronger economy to ensure we can provide better health services across all of Queensland.

17.01.2022 DOYLE TO YOUR DOOR: Spent the afternoon knocking on doors, meeting people and being chased by magpies. I'd love to hear from any Mundingburra constituents regarding any concerns. Please feel welcome to call me on mobile number: 0460 729 469 or email: [email protected].

The robotic surgery system is used to perform key hole surgery that can assist in urology, gynaecology, colorectal, thoracic, cardiac, gastro-intestinal and other specialist surgeries. This technology will enable Townsville patients to undergo surgery & recovery without the need to travel to Brisbane.

09.01.2022 Change the government to get Queensland working again.

08.01.2022 It's Queensland's largest building plan in decades. New Bradfield Scheme to secure our water. Second M1 to get you home sooner and safer. Four-laning the Bruce Highway to Cairns to get Queensland moving.

07.01.2022 Not far from home at Annandale State School booth. It's hot!. Thanks Jo & Leigh for your hard work.

06.01.2022 The writing is on the wall. Change the government to get Queensland working again.

06.01.2022 It was fantastic to have Deb Frecklington MP in Townsville talking about the LNP’s plan for the Bruce Highway and announcing a major investment in North Queensland health services. BRUCE HIGHWAY: LNP’s big bold plans to supercharge the regions by four-laning the Bruce Highway from Curra to Cairns.... Because of this project, 100,000 jobs will be created over 15 years and Queensland companies like RMS Engineering & Construction - Australia will benefit directly through construction jobs on the Bruce. Four-laning the Bruce will not only create jobs, it will help keep people safe, improve the tourism industry and keep communities connected. HEALTH ANNOUNCEMENT: Announcing a major investment in North Queensland health services, with a $5 million commitment for a new state-of-the-art robotic surgery arm for Townsville and North Queensland. The robotic surgery system is used to perform key hole surgery that can assist in urology, gynaecology, colorectal, thoracic, cardiac, gastro-intestinal and other specialist surgeries. 05.01.2022 LNP has a comprehensive plan to crack down on youth crime and protect the community. TOUGHER LAWS: The LNP will remove Labor party's policy of detention as a last resort, bring back breach of bail as an offence and scrap Labor’s ‘catch and release’ bail laws to control the skyrocketing crime in Townsville caused by repeat offenders. The LNP will also introduce laws to recognise prior offending in the courts. This will mean a court sentencing an adult is able to admit evidence... that the adult was found guilty as a child of an offence even if a conviction was not recorded, giving courts a more complete picture of adult offenders’ criminal history. OTHER YOUTH CRIME & ORDER PLANS: Monitor youth offenders on bail 24/7, introduce mandatory detention for third convictions, establish a Community Payback Farm program, scrap youth bail houses, and trial justice reinvestment. The full details of LNP's plan to crack down on youth crime can be found here: https://www.deb2020.com.au/debs-comprehensive-plan-to-crac/ SAFE SHOPPING: Labor’s soft on crime approach has made people feel unsafe when shopping. If elected in October an LNP government will increase staff numbers at the Stockland Police Beat by an additional 3 full time officers. OTHER LAW & ORDER PLANS INCLUDE: Give police the resources & laws they need Provide Crime Stoppers with an extra $1.5 million Police helicopter for North Queensland Consequences for criminal activity GPS-tracking of repeat violent sex offenders Bring back tough criminal bikie gang laws Tough domestic violence laws Public sex offender register Tough hoon laws

05.01.2022 The signs are all there. On 31 October, change the government to get Queensland working again.

04.01.2022 Hello all - not the result we were looking for last night across Townsville but I could not be prouder of the effort by team Doyle. I’d love to thank every person who helped out on a booth, delivered pamphlets, helped with functions, transport or provided moral support. This has been a fantastic experience and I have met some fantastic people on all sides of politics. As I said last night the Doyle family really came together during the campaign and I could not be prouder ...of all the boys and Rachel, with the sacrifices they made and the support they gave me when it was needed. I won’t mention them here, but I had a rock-solid campaign team who went above and beyond, so I just had to focus on my role - thanks so much guys. Campaigning requires a huge commitment from the candidate but also their support team - anyone who has stood for an election will understand what is required, it is full days and nights, with little rest- I am so happy to have had this opportunity and look forward to catching up with everyone soon - keep smiling See more

04.01.2022 An elected LNP Government will introduce changes to Labor's failing Youth Justice Act within the first 100 days. Crime in Townsville is out of control under Labor so we can't afford to waste a day before making these changes. Youth Justice Act changes to be introduced:... Scrap Labor’s soft ‘catch and release’ laws Bring back breach of bail as an offence Recognise prior youth offending in the courts Remove detention as a last resort. Mandatory detention for third conviction Only the LNP will crackdown on crime and help keep our communities safe.

04.01.2022 There's only 1 hour left to get Queensland working again. VOTE 1 LNP.

03.01.2022 Only the LNP has a plan to get Queensland working again. Change the government on 31 October. www.lnp.org.au

03.01.2022 We need to change the government to get Queensland working again.

02.01.2022 CHEAPER ELECTRICITY: Yesterday I was invited to attend a forum with the NQ Retirees organisation where I was pleased to talk with them about some of their concerns. One of their more important concerns was the high cost of electricity in North Qld and the strain it has on both households & businesses. An elected LNP will introduce competition into the retail electricity market to put downward pressure on wholesale prices.... For more information on LNP's plan for cheaper electricity, visit: https://www.deb2020.com.au/our-plan-for-cheaper-electricit/

01.01.2022 A big thank you to the NQ Retirees Organisation for the invitation to attend a forum today, a great opportunity to listen to what’s most important to them. It was no surprise to hear that Townsville crime was at the top of their concerns. It’s important that our retirees feel safe in their community. An elected LNP Government will act swiftly to introduce changes to improve the safety of the Townsville community.
