08.01.2022 Today marks the official end to the quietest fire season in more than a decade, a welcome and stark contrast to last year. This season, NSW RFS members have res...ponded to just over 5,500 bush and grass fires that have burnt 30,963 hectares across NSW, considerably less than the 11,400 fires and 5.5 million hectares lost last season. Thank you to our incredible members who continuously step up to help when called upon, protecting communities across the state

06.01.2022 WATER OVER BRIDGMAN ROAD - UPDATE ROAD NOW CLOSED There is currently water beginning to pool over Bridgman road near Blaxland ave and with the continued ris...ing of the river we anticipate this road will soon be closed. Alternate access to Singleton Heights, Hunterview and other areas will still be available through White Avenue and by going over Redbournberry Bridge. Please remember it’s never safe to drive, walk, ride or play in floodwater.
