05.01.2022 The ballot papers are now out. We received ours today. Most of you will probably have voted by the weekend. I’m not telling you how to vote but my personal belief is that you should look carefully at all the candidates. You should consider a core of strong current councillors as their experience is essential for the new council. You should also consider the newbies - the ones who will start their service in local government now and who will carry on when the current councillors depart. I am not making any recommendations - all I am asking is that you consider including me in your 8 choices. Thanks.

04.01.2022 Today is your final chance to vote. And if you complete your postal vote, be sure to sign the declaration and have it witnessed to ensure your vote counts - especially if I am one of your choices!! LOL

02.01.2022 This is for the benefit of anybody who hasn’t been following me and is checking my page before deciding where their final preference is to go. In a nutshell, I have no preconceptions about Council. I have no hidden agendas. I would vote on matters before Council based on my personal attributes of honesty, compassion and integrity and what I perceive to be the needs of the people. I am not making any promises other than to use my best endeavours to have Council respond in a timely and accurate manner to all genuine enquiries. To promise anything else would be worthless as an individual Councillor has no power. You are only empowered if you work within the team and have some meaningful input in Council’s decisions. I hope to do that. I invite you to private message me if you have a specific query.
