25.01.2022 Glenorchy Carols is still on! The weather is clearing and it looks like a lovely evening. We recommend bringing something to sit on like a picnic blanket or low camping chairs so you can stay dry and enjoy your picnic on the Tolosa Park lawns. See you there!

21.01.2022 A message from YMCA: The YMCA are thrilled to be supporting the Glenorchy Carols again this year. We acknowledge that this year has been a tough one for many families and we are encouraged to see the community spirit of support is strong in Glenorchy. The Glenorchy Carols event, usually held at Tolosa Park in early December is a highlight on the YMCA’s calendar each year in so many ways. The event will live on in 2020 with choirs and performers to pop up around Glenorchy ...and on Council Lawns. We are excited for what next year holds for Glenorchy families, particularly with new BMX plans, the new Play Spaces and Skate Park to support and celebrate youth action sports. We look forward to working with Glenorchy City Council towards delivering youth programs for our local young people in the new year. On behalf of the YMCA staff and volunteers in Hobart, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and safe new year!
