15.01.2022 It's coming on to Summer and we have a new range of sunnies! Polaroid sunglasses were actually the world's first polarized sunglasses, being invented in 1937. Some people ask what the difference is between polarized lenses and other sunglass lenses. Plain tinted lenses are placed in a vat of dye and they soak up the colour, which reduces the intensity of light. That suits a lot of people, but others have a glare sensitivity, and that's where polarized lenses come in. Polarization has a special filter that cuts out glare as well as light.
