25.01.2022 If anyone is interested in doing this, I think it would be a great asset to those wanting to help out at Pony Club.

23.01.2022 AREA 1 Show Jumping Helensburg Pony Club have kindly offered to run the Area 1 Showjumping day on the 22nd November. This is a day for teams to represent their clubs in showjumping grades as well as a day to select the RAS Team for 2021.... Please mark this day in your diaries. As Covid is still in our midst further information on the running of the day will be given at a later date.

23.01.2022 We are needing ring stewards for our closed show riding to make our day run smoothly. We rely on our parents ( volunteers) to help us out at days like theses. It will not be all day. Morning stewards than afternoon session. So I’m needing 6 x stewards for the day. It’s very easy, get the ribbons ready for the judges and write down 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class. Your help would be much appreciated xx

22.01.2022 Save the date for our 2021 State Championships! Keen to host a State event next year? Start the discussions now with your zone to submit an application to host for consideration at the November State Meetings.

22.01.2022 ZONE 26 SHOW JUMPING Postponed Due to the restrictions placed on us by NSW Health & PCA NSW. We have decided to postpone the Zone show jumping event scheduled for 30th August. Please watch this space for revised date. Woodlands Park Committee

22.01.2022 Hi All, Do we have anyone interested in doing pairs at Sydney Royal. We have a rider that is looking to pair up. You must be over 13 years of age. Let me or Olivia Williamson know ASAP, as entries close tomorrow xxx

21.01.2022 EDIT: Trophy has been found! Yay. Hi all. We are missing the perpetual trophy that we won at Jamboree last year. Does anyone know the location of the big trophy shown in the photo?

21.01.2022 Please check your emails (the email address used on the entry for Jamboree)! Zone have sent out emails to every one entered with the final programme. It's a good idea to print it out or to have it saved on your phone to use during the event. If you have any questions please direct them to zone or to the club email address. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

20.01.2022 Can anyone help and do my morning tea this Sunday? Karen Garcia

19.01.2022 The jotform platform has reached its monthly quota. Since we now have to move to QR code’s there is no point in paying about $300 for a bigger quota. As long as everyone signs in via gear check tomorrow RSVPs won’t be necessary. Please come and join the fun tomorrow!!

18.01.2022 Hi All, Omnisport seems to have had a bit of a hiccup and sent out emails indicating that you are not a member. Please disregard this email from Omnisport!

18.01.2022 For those families attending tomorrow, please ensure you fill out the online COVID Health Declaration BEFORE you come tomorrow. Here's the link: https://form.jotform.com/202071087453046

16.01.2022 Merry Christmas to our volunteers, sponsors, members and supporters and of course our horses and ponies! We wish you happiness and good health and lots of carrots for the ponies

16.01.2022 If you are coming to Pony Club tomorrow please let us know on [email protected] Those that turn up with out letting us know really make it hard for the instructors and organisers.

15.01.2022 PCANSW have sent an email out to all our members in regards to the cancellation of all State Pony Club events for the rest of the year. Please check your email for full explanation.

15.01.2022 Hi members, due to the amount of rain we have had, and are still expecting over the next few days, the grounds have been closed to all horse and riders. The council lock has been placed on the gate. We are hoping that the grounds will be dry enough for our rally day next Sunday.

14.01.2022 A thought about our committee meeting on Wednesday night. We can only have 10max attend if we go to the RSL, but if we hold it at our clubhouse, we can have up to 18 in attendance. The difference will be closing the meeting to club members that are not committee members, and being able to have dinner. Thoughts please?

14.01.2022 Pony Club wants to hear from boys! Patrick Perkins, 11, from Rathdowney Pony Club loves his pony Max and going to Pony Club. He especially enjoys the thrill of ...mounted games. But there are fewer boys than girls enjoying Pony Club and the national organisation is keen to find out why. Pony Club Australia is reaching out to males aged 12 and over to find out their thoughts on Pony Club. All current and past male members, as well as males who have never been involved with horses, are invited to take part in a short online survey.... You can find the survey (and a chance to win PlayStation gift cards!) here: www.equestrianlife.com.au//Pony-Club-wants-to-hear-from-bo #eqlifeaus

11.01.2022 The Transported Stock Statement (TSS) system was introduced in 1990 partly to assist NSW Police Force to trace stolen stock. You are required to carry a TSS in ...various circumstances including transporting your horse to a private facility for recreational riding or lessons. Police Operation Stock Check commenced on the 4th of August 2020 resulting in increased monitoring of transported horses. Be prepared, you are likely to be pulled over and asked by the NSW Police for a TSS for the horse you may be moving. If you do not have a TSS with you or your horse does not meet any of the exemptions, you may be fined. 11.01.2022 With the unfortunate cancellation of the Zone Dressage, we have decided to have a Certificate Assessement day on Sunday 13th September. Please encourage all rider to have completed their workbook and have everything ready get ticked off. We will have instructors on hand to assess the components that need to be checked. This will be a fantastic opportunity to get certificates done, and for those above D this also includes you. 10.01.2022 Attention recreational horse owners! Transported Stock Statements (TSS) for Horse Movement are now available as a FREE PDF you can download from the LLS website. 10.01.2022 A reminder that entries for Jambroee are open. Entries close 10th November at 11pm Please enter via online link: https://www.globalentriesonline.com.au/equestrian_pony_//

08.01.2022 We had a fantastic morning today with 12 incredible riders successfully assessed for their proficiency certificates. Congratulations riders, you show us your incredible knowledge and horsemanship. And Happy Birthday to Alana, Daisy and D'Arcy.

07.01.2022 As you know we don't usually run rally days during the school holidays. However we thought we might add a bonus rally day (to make up for the cancelled one from wet weather) on Sunday 18th of April, the last day before school goes back. It would also give our riders a day to practice before the Hawkesbury Show Pony Club Day on Friday 23rd April. In order to run this day we do need to know how many members would be able to attend. If you are planning on coming please let us know on the club email address: [email protected] The Rally Day will only be run if we have enough riders.

05.01.2022 We had hinted that we might have some exciting news for associate riders in their final year of Pony Club in 2020... The following changes have been ratifi...ed at the State Meetings: That for 2021 only, riders who would have turned 25 in the 2020 calendar year be allowed to ride and compete up to State Championship level in 2021. We have also just been given some more good news, the RAS has agreed to our suggested change that was also ratified at the same meeting: That for 2021 only, an exemption on the maximum age of riders competing at the RAS be amended to under 18. This means that if you were lined up to ride in the Under 17 age group as a 16 year old, you will now get the opportunity to enter again in 2021!
