22.01.2022 Glen Park have been generously provided with a space at Eastland to collect donations for our Christmas Community Pantry. Christmas is a time of the year where many families struggle to meet the daily demands of life whilst providing some of the luxuries that many of us see simply as "tradition". Charities in Victoria report that the demand for food relief in 2020 has increased on average 47%, which is why we are asking you to donate to Glen Park's Emergency relief program this Christmas. See the flyer attached for further information on donatable items and shop location. The donation point will be available at Eastland from the 1st of December.

18.01.2022 Glen Park Community Centre held our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 6th May at 4:00pm. We were so glad to hold our AGM in person and see our supporters faces on the day. Of course, Cafe on the Park provided a yummy spread of catering for our guests to enjoy at the conclusion of the meeting. Thank you to Jodie Murphy, Community Relations Manager at Eastland for being our special guest speaker and sharing your story with our community. 16.01.2022 Agriculture Victoria is hosting a series of one-hour community information sessions on how to join the seasonal workforce, in fruit and vegetable picking, along with grain harvesting and sheep husbandry. Interpreters will attend the sessions to provide support where required. 16.01.2022 Glen Park Community Centre have created a spoon for Eastland’s Spoonvile. We’ve modelled our spoon after Naomi, our Social Enterprise Coordinator and she couldn’t be happier to have her own action figure! We thought we’d take the spoon on an adventure around the centre before it leaves us for Eastland, so stay tuned for some fun antics!

Helga, Darelle & Maree received Highly commended Expressionist Award 2021. Lyn's art is so beautiful and has been created over several years. Lyn also received a award from Whitehorse Arts association in the recent Art show. Well done to all four Artists.
