25.01.2022 If you haven’t seen an Arbutus in the rain have you really ever seen one at all??? That’s right, it’s raining! But despite this drizzly weather we are still open and the garden is looking shiny and fresh thanks to this glorious rain! Morning tea and lunch served on the veranda of the main house and of course our little Christmas Shop and Nursery are open too!... 25.01.2022 Rambling around the garden early yesterday morning was such a treat for the senses! Just listen to the beautiful bird calls and enjoy the incredible reflections! A stark contrast to today’s blustery conditions.

22.01.2022 Open Garden tomorrow! We have tea, coffee and cakes and for a special autumnal change we have some delicious pumpkin soup and sourdough made from pumpkins grown right here on the farm. A scrumptious lunch for the chilly weather! Autumn is looking spectacular! The colours are phenomenal this time of year! ... Check out this gorgeous pastel artwork by @karoloakleyartist done this week in situ overlooking the lakes. We were blown away by the artwork that was inspired by our gardens this week! Can’t wait to show you some more!

16.01.2022 We live in granite boulder country in this ancient land of Australia, we are lucky. This is our balancing rock, weathering storms and temperature extremes but still hanging in there. I don’t take living here for granted and my heart goes out to all of those people here in Australia and overseas who have suffered, are continuing to suffer and will still suffer in the future through no fault of their own, but because of the colour of their skin. I find it incredulous that humankind is still allowing racism to flourish in the year 2020. Racism is just simply not ok.. ever. Where is love? BLM

15.01.2022 Spring has well and truly arrived in the garden and we’re all going a bit crazy for it!

15.01.2022 It won’t be long till these beauties finish flowering sadly as the days are really noticeably warming up, all too quickly! Meanwhile, we’ll enjoy them for as long as we can.

15.01.2022 Teuchrium fruticans and Lavender Violet Lace setting off the entrance in purple unison with a splash of electric blue!! Next OPEN GARDEN soon! Sunday 1st November 10 am - 4 pm. See you there!!

14.01.2022 These giant snowballs of Viburnum macrocephalum turn from lime green to white over a period of time. I translated ‘macrocephalum’ and they certainly are ‘big headed’!! Looking heavenly this Spring! Come and see them at our next OPEN GARDEN on Sunday the 1st of November! We’re open from 10 am - 4 pm. Plenty of refreshments, ample parking and plants! 13.01.2022 For those of you who are coming to our OPEN GARDEN on Sunday the 1st of November, you will find this stunning lilac in full bloom in the Red Oak Garden. The scent is sublime and reminiscent of childhood.. you will love it!

13.01.2022 Albertine is divine! It’s official!! Come and see the extensive bank of this beautiful rose tumbling down into one of the lakes at our next OPEN GARDEN on Sunday the 29th of November 10 am to 4 pm! It’s quite impressive!!

13.01.2022 This Arbutus menziesii ( Pacific Madronas) is definitely one of my favourite trees in the garden. The red bark peels away in strips to reveal a green colouring and the flowers are very delicate and a cream colour. A handsome specimen indeed!

12.01.2022 Not only are they delightfully cheery, Mahonias have a lovely fragrance that wafts about the garden as the sun is going down. We really do love them.

12.01.2022 The Chaenomeles japonica has almost finished sadly. It’s given us and the Eastern spinebills months of pleasure and in these particular ones, the bunnies have harboured over winter in burrows buried below.

We are genuinely in awe of the work you do and the standard of service you provide - from the way you managed your team on Sunday to having your eyes on every single dish before you served it out to table. We are immensely grateful to you for the time your spent prior to the event, working with us closely to design a specialised, seven course degustation menu for our guests on Sunday, ...including a dedicated Glenrock Gardens season inspired dessert for the final course.
