25.01.2022 @specialized_au Dig Day will be held on Saturday 2nd of June We will be working in the area of the old clay quarry, below 6 Shooter jumps. The work will be rebuilding and rerouting the trails from the Cliff Jumps and 6 Shooter to make way for the new Pump/Jump Track and Skills Precinct and provide access to the area Really big news for this build day is Specialized and Drift Bikes are on-board with sponsorship and support. They will be providing extra tools, BBQ and drinks! W...hoo! Meet on-site in the lower quarry at 9.30am Please wear shoes and your Yellow GTA shirt if you have one, if not we will supply some on the day. Also some work gloves if you have them. 18.01.2022 The next @glenrock_mtb_park Trailwork DIG DAY is this Saturday 15th September. The trail building work will be in the area of Seismick Trail, kicking off at 9:30am. The work involves rebuilding the whole trail and in particular reshaping the berms. They will need to be hand packed with shovel and McLeod, so the more hands the better! The NPWS Field Officers have been on-site moving material to build this and we should be able to achieve a great result with substantially bigge...r berms Oh yeah! NPWS Ranger, Kate will be providing a BBQ lunch for all volunteers to keep the energy levels up. @specialized_au and @driftbikes are once again on-board with sponsorship and support, providing extra tools and helping out with the BBQ and drinks! Whoo! Please wear shoes and a yellow GTA shirt if you have on. If not we will supply Hi Vis vests on the day. Also bring some work gloves if you have them and a water bottle. The community support for the last Dig Day was epic so we’re expecting this will be another fun and productive day. 17.01.2022 Management trail work - from the NPWS; Management Trail maintenance works- From Tuesday 21st April (for 2 weeks) maintenance works will be occurring on a number management and fire trails in Glenrock State Conservation Area. The trails include Gun Club, Yuelarbah Management Trail, Bailey’s Fire Trail, Easement Trail, Sewer Link Trail and Banksia Fire Trail. The individual trails will be closed to the general public (road closed signs will be put in place) during the works f...or the safety of the community and contractors. Cyclists and pedestrians must not enter areas of track works. The work will only impact one track section at a time and will only be a limited time on each track. There is not the capacity for staff to putting place detour signs as the contractor progresses. It is essential track maintenance that we have managed to secure funding for a short notice hence and quick turnaround. I also appreciate it will impact on park users and how the reserve and track network is used in the short term. Yuelarbah Walking Track Upgrade works - From the 4th May the Yuelarbah Management Trail from the car park to the easement and walking track will be closed to the public in order to upgrade a 400m section of the walking track.

05.01.2022 Glenrock MTB Park, NPWS, Glenrock Trail Alliance and Synergy Trails are excited to share the proposed design for the Glenrock MTB Skills Precinct. This design is being used in the grant application being submitted tomorrow. We have worked collectively to develop a proposal that fits with the requirements of all of the parties involved. NPWS are in full support for the proposed design, and are just as excited as the MTB community about this proposal. Get involved in the upcoming GTA build day to help make way for the Skills Precinct works.
