23.01.2022 Music is important for the soul. Are you missing playgroup and our music time? I know that I am! Message me with the songs from playgroup that your children miss the most and I will organise a sing-a-long. A special thank you to the teachers and staff at Glenroi Heights Public School for joining in. Rachel Livingstone... Schools as Community Centres See more

18.01.2022 What’s all the noise about? That was the question many people in our Glenroi community asked yesterday when they heard all the tooting. Staff from Glenroi Heights Public School - NSW DEC were sad that the Easter parade had been cancelled this year so decided to do a parade with a twist. We decorated our cars and took the parade to our students. Big shout out to the local Police for your support!

13.01.2022 Join us for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea... drive through style! We are all in iso and socially distancing but cancer hasn’t been playing along with these rules!!! Let’s raise money to try kick cancers butt. Drive by Glenroi Heights Public School for some yummy homemade goodies and a cuppa next Thursday 28th. Hope to see you there

12.01.2022 Easter is just around the corner and the Easter Bunny is almost on it’s way. And at Easter it’s OK to have chocolate for breakfast at my house. Our favourite Easter Breakfast is chocolate Easter egg pancakes. So simple yet so delicious. Why don’t you have a go at making them? (Recipe in comments)

11.01.2022 Mothers Day is almost here! There are many cheap and easy activities to do with your kids that won’t cost a fortune. All you need is a cup of creativity, mixed with a pinch of patience, a lot of laughter and jug of joy! Happy ‘Mothers Day’ to all the mums out there!... Rach Livingstone

10.01.2022 Let’s Get cooking! It’s a great time to cook up your favourite comfort food! My family love homemade chicken schnitzel and I think they taste better than the bought ones. The best thing is that the leftovers (if you have any!) make the best Schnitty burgers. Rach Livingstone... Schools as Comminuty Centres (SaCC) See more

06.01.2022 With the Easter break and school holidays starting, we wish all the parents that have been ‘home schooling’ a well deserved break from your ‘teaching duties’. Stay home, stay safe and enjoy the words of wisdom and encouragement from our school captain.

05.01.2022 It’s Music Time Singing and nursery rhymes are very important for language development in our little ones. When we sing we slow our language down which helps our babies and toddlers hear all the smaller sounds that make up words - an important early language and literacy skill. Have you sang with your child today?... Rach Livingstone Schools as Community Centres (SaCC)

01.01.2022 Our children are our future. The most important gift you can give them is your time. Make the time to play, talk, read, sing, dance and create. ** ONLINE ACTIVITIES coming soon as Playgroups are currently cancelled due to COVID-19**
