25.01.2022 Remembrance Day We remembered the young and the fallen, the bold and the brave. Chris Sutton || Assistant Principal

22.01.2022 PRESENTATION DAY 2020 This year's Presentation Day will be different due to COVID restrictions. We do not have enough space for parents to attend so we will be sending home keepsake photos for all students who receive an award. We will also be holding a special morning tea on Wednesday 9th December at 10.30am for our newly elected school leaders and their families. In addition all Year 6 parents will be invited to watch the Year 6 students receive their graduation certificate...s from 5.30pm to 6.00pm on the evening of the Year 6 Farewell. Please listen to the information provided in the video below. I am sure you all understand the need to keep all of our students, staff and community safe. Even though things will be a bit different this year, it will still be very special. Mrs Beasley || Principal

03.01.2022 Young Archies The Sparke group of NSW Public Schools recently held the Young Archies Art competition inviting budding primary artists to submit a portrait. The theme was Local Heroes. Each school runs a local School competition and then selects artworks for the exhibition and final judging. This year due to COVID we couldn’t hold an exhibition of artworks so we have created an online voting exhibition and invite the public to vote for their favourite art work. Local artist L...oretta Blake and her daughter Larissa Blake will be selecting winning entries but this year we have included a public vote. Voting will be open until midday on the 6th November and then winners will be announced. Entering your email address limits everyone to one vote but still keeps anonymity. Thanks to staff from Anson Street School Mrs Cathy Steer and Mrs Cathy Huggett for organising the competition and exhibition and Mrs Trish Riley for creating the online voting platform. Good luck to all the budding artists https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSdawsosRcJHd4KTR/viewform Kind Regards, Melanie Meers
