20.01.2022 Fantastic to have over 100mls of rain last week - all the paddocks started growing instantly only one problem- a new bridge is being built further down the valley and the only access out was through the creek which was slightly flooded- the water had gone down enough on Monday for the crossing to be repaired so once again we could leave the valley. 12.01.2022 Well it’s been just over a month since the fires were in our area of Northern New South Wales . My dear close friends managed to save their home thanks to the local fire brigade even though a screen on the veranda caught on fire.20 kilometres of fencing lost and the task of repairing the damage is daunting to say the least. 08.01.2022 This used to be my favourite view of the property- now it brings tears to my eyes. The drought continues-trees dying the only green is where Jason can irrigate from the bore which is a very limited area.
