25.01.2022 Accepted wisdom up here on the Northern Rivers, with its rich volcanic soil and high rainfall, is that it's not wise to stand still too long or you'll take root - but after weeks of rain here on the coast my shovel and truck tray are also in on the act

14.01.2022 We are somewhat overstocked so I've put an ad on Gumtree looking to find a good home for some of the Wagyu and Hereford breeder cows. Yell if you know of anyone who might be interested.

13.01.2022 Hand feeding in the Northern Rivers - who'd have ever thought. A combination of a very dry late summer with little feed running into winter, plus a cattle tick quarantine lock down stopping me sell cattle says we're seriously overstocked. At least my little F1 Red Angus / Red Wagyu bull calf looks a picture

11.01.2022 Sadly, I've decided I can't manage two bulls on my small acreage so, after much heart wrenching deliberation, I've made the decision to keep my little Red Angus - Wagyu bull calf intact and, UNLESS someone can help, to castrate the little Apricot Limousin - Wagyu male end week. If anyone is interested, give me a yell asap - he's a gorgeous looking little boy

04.01.2022 Two delightful Xmas presents - little bull and heifer mini Red Angus / Red Wagyu F1 cross calves. Must have been some interesting aerobatics from the little stud bull - "I think I can, I think I can"

04.01.2022 Just clear of cattle tick quarantine after more than a year of DPI treatment and looking to off-load some cattle. Attached photos .... little Angus-Wagyu bull all grown up now and proud father of two calves to my remaining 2 stud Hereford cows, and about to be father with red Wagyu cow and Angus Hereford X heifer. Anyone interested in talking about purchase of Angus/Hereford heifers or Angus Wagyu steers, let me know - remembering that these are sired by mini Angus stud bull so not large cattle - typical 120-125cm at withers. Very tame and all grass fed so slow developers
