09.01.2022 GLENROWAN BLACKSMITH FACEBOOK It is with deep regret that I am informing the followers of this page, that the Glenrowan Blacksmith "Gary Nicholls" has gone to the big blacksmith barn in the sky. Gary's passing has come as a shock to his family and friends, of which he has made many over his lifetime. If you have ever dropped into the blacksmith shop, you will know that Gary was always happy to have a chat about his craftsmanship, the Ned Kelly era or anything else that came up in conversation. He was well liked by the community and contributed to improving the Glenrowan township. His funeral was held today in Benalla and he was given a guard of honour by the members of the Benalla Bowls Club, of which he was both a member and club champion. He will be fondly remembered by everyone that was lucky enough to meet him. Noel McColl
