23.01.2022 The leaping loonies this morning. And the pony that gallops past in the lane at the very start of the video is nearly 30 years old!

22.01.2022 These ladies seem to be having a conference this morning, planning something?

22.01.2022 Just moved these guys in to a different paddock. Anyone would think they were three year olds at Christmas!

20.01.2022 1st of the season for us. A healthy baby boy. Young mum has done a great job. Cattle help keep horse pastures healthy.

16.01.2022 Hi everyone. Sorry to have to inform you all that Glenshea Equine Retirement is no longer accepting new clients nor running a waiting list. We will certainly announce it when and if the situation changes. We would like to thank all the lovely people who have sent their wonderful old horses for us to care for. It has been our great pleasure.

12.01.2022 Of course it's not all retired horses

11.01.2022 Penny the Clydesdale. Full gallop in one pic and all four feet off the ground in the other! Channeling her inner Lipitzaner?

09.01.2022 The rains are coming?

09.01.2022 Just letting everyone know that in spite of last night's gale force winds we have had very little damage. As you can see all is peaceful in the horse paddocks. In fact, they seem to be wondering what I'm fussing about

07.01.2022 Bringing in the hay. A bit late this year.

05.01.2022 Spectacular evening here at Glenshea. No wind, beautiful cloud formations. Just sitting here listening to all the birds settling in for the night. Just love the caroling of the magpies.

05.01.2022 An update on the Hawkesdale fire situation. The fire is out and the inhabitants of Glenshea are all safe, humans and horses alike. A huge thankyou to the Byaduk CFA who came to our place twice last night to make sure our house was safe while we were evacuated out of the area at about 11pm. The fire came way too close for comfort, almost to the back fence, so all the fireys have done an amazing job to protect our precious horses and property. We are extremely lucky and grateful .

02.01.2022 Of course some of our retirees look sensational !
