22.01.2022 https://www.glenunganetball.com.au/covid-guidelines Please familiarise yourself with the Covid guidelines for the summer season. All players, officials and spectators will need to fill out Covid Tracing information every time they attend a game. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit for your team or loss of premiership points!

22.01.2022 All games are cancelled for the next two weeks due to Covid as per SA Health guidelines. Stay safe Rams

22.01.2022 The Little Lambs - U9 Blue team!!

21.01.2022 Please remember for the grand final tomorrow that we are restricted to one spectator per player, plus officials. I will be coaching my team when all Glenunga teams are playing their grand final, so I won’t answer my phone to clarify these rules. My priority tomorrow, will be my team. If you need to clarify anything regarding spectator numbers, call me tonight, not tomorrow please. People will most likely be asked to leave the courts if they aren’t complying, so that SAUCNA can stick to their covid limits. We all want to play summer, so we don’t want to break the covid rules and compromise our ability to continue playing through summer. Kristy

21.01.2022 Don't forget, tomorrow night presentation night. We have uniforms and jumpers ready to collect for all players who have ordered them!

21.01.2022 Cracking showdown game between the U13 Yellow and White teams yesterday. The Yellow team took it out by 2 goals, great game by both teams!!

19.01.2022 Mother's Day Mission Stall 8th May 2021 Have you got a jar or two filled ready for next weekends' Mothers' Day Mission stall.... Don't forget that we are asking you to put your creative thinking hat on this year to fill a jar that can be sold for $2, $5 or $10. This can be a great activity for the kids this weekend (when they're not playing netball). What should you make? Absolutely anything, but some ideas include: - chutney - recipe in a jar - hot chocolate mix - dried herbs - dehydated fruit - a terrarium And then you get to buy a gift for that special person/people in your life! All proceeds will be donated to the church for use in their mission projects, which this year include: - Frontier Services - Timor Leste - Community Health and Nutrition Education - Disaster readiness and climate change in the Pacific Islands These are very worthy causes, and we appreciate your support in helping to make the life of these people a little easier.

16.01.2022 SA United Church Netball Association Inc, Mon Aug 31, 2020 7:43AM This Saturday is our one and only final match for Winter season 2020. ALL matches will be held at Association Courts. Court allocations are available on the fixtures for each grade. ... Teams are requested to NOT move to the courts until the teams and spectators from the previous time-slot matches have left the venue. There is plenty of time available between matches for this to happen. Our COVID-19 marshall, John, will be asking any people not associated with matches in progress to leave the venue. If you do not comply we may be required to contact the police to ensure that we remain within our venue limit of 1000 people. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, spectators are limited to ONE per player. Please note - Coaches, managers, umpires, scorers and timekeepers are not considered as spectators. This means that each team may have A MAXIMUM OF the following present at the match - 1 x coach, 1 x manager, 1 x scorer, 1 x timekeeper, players and one spectator per player. Matches will be centrally timed with NO grace period for the start of each match. There is no official injury/blood rule time however if an injury occurs the umpires will stop play to allow the injured player to leave the court within 30 seconds. If the player cannot be moved for safety reasons the match will be moved to a nearby vacant court as quickly as possible. In the event of a draw, the normal extra time provisions will be in place and teams must supply an electronic timer with the away team timing the 2 minute interval at the end of the match prior to extra time commencing and the home team timing the 2 x 6 minute halves. A 1 minute break will be held between the two extra time halves. http://www.saucna.net/pageitem.aspx

14.01.2022 Just something that comes up in relation to getting ears pierced. We don’t want our umpires to have to be the bad guys and say sorry you can’t play because you ...just got your ears pierced and can’t take your earrings out. Unfortunately the umpires cannot allow players with ears taped either. There is a big break in summer from mid Dec to end of January, that’s the best time to do it. See more

14.01.2022 Welcome to Grand Final Day!! Let's make it a great day for everyone. Please remember that we are limited to ONE spectator per player (including siblings). We... need to continue to work together (maybe give permission for people to video the match for those who can't attend) so that we can continue to provide netball for our community. The Summer season is only 4 weeks away!!! See more

09.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION Now that the winter season is over the SAUCNA Board would like to congratulate you and thank you for your efforts in getting the season up and running, and completed. 08.01.2022 Thanks Woolworths! Today we received a $2000 grant from Woolworths so we can put some more money towards umpire development and new equipment for our club! https://yougrowgirl.netball.com.au/grants/

08.01.2022 Congratulations to the teams that have made the Grand final this coming weekend. A couple of things that you need to note: 1. Teams are requested to NOT move to the courts until the teams and spectators from the previous time-slot matches have left the venue. There is plenty of time available between matches for this to happen. 2. The COVID-19 marshal, will be asking any people not associated with matches in progress to leave the venue. If you do not comply we may be ...required to contact the police to ensure that we remain within our venue limit of 1000 people. 3. 4. Matches will be centrally timed with NO grace period for the start of each match. 5. There is no official injury/blood rule time; however, if an injury occurs the umpires will stop play to allow the injured player to leave the court within 30 seconds. If the player cannot be moved for safety reasons the match will be moved to a nearby vacant court as quickly as possible. 6. It is unfortunate that these restrictions are in place, but it is for the benefit and safety of the wider community. I’m sure you will all join the Glenunga Netball Club in thanking and congratulating SAUCNA on a mammoth effort in making sure we can play a season. We do acknowledge and appreciate all the extra time, blood, sweat and tears that went into this 2020 winter season.

Fri 8/U and 9/U 6:00pm, 7:10pm COVID REQUIREMENTS FOR SUMMER SEASON: Please don't go onto the courts before the previous team has left the courts. Please leave courts immediately after the game has finished. All spectators including coaches, managers, scorers and siblings must register their details as per Covid Management Plan. Failure to do so may result in a forfeit for that team if the Covid Register form is not submitted with the score card at the end of each game.
