21.01.2022 Dear GWTC Member - As you would have heard yesterday, stage three restrictions will be reintroduced from 11:59pm , Wednesday 8th July and continue for six weeks to 11:59pm Wednesday, 19 August to help reduce the risk of further Coronavirus transmissions. We are pleased to report that GWTC CAN REMAIN OPEN - with the following restrictions in place: COACHING - is allowed for members of the same household OR for one to one coaching... SOCIAL PLAY - is allowed for members of the same household (max 4 on the court) OR for 2 people per court from different households (max 2 on the court) COMPETITION PLAY - is not allowed CLUBHOUSE - is to remain locked at all times (unless using the Bathrooms) REGISTER - at the club must be completed SOCIAL DISTANCING - is to be maintained at all times HAND WASHING/SANITISING - is to be done before and after play TENNIS EQUIPMENT - must not be shared For full details of the Update from Tennis Victoria, please click on the following link: https://www.tennis.com.au//tennis-victoria-update-8-july-2

16.01.2022 How great is it now that our club has re-opened This morning our Midweek Men players enjoyed being back on the court and we now are allowed to have a maximum of 24 people (with our 6 courts) not 10 as previously thought. In other news Pinewood Community Bank Branch have recently approved their Sponsorship arrangement with GWTC for 2019/20 which is great news . Robert Davies is Chairman of Pinewood Community Bank and he visited the club this morning. The Bank and GWTC have had a great relationship for many years and the club is very appreciative of the Bank's support. To all GWTC members - If you have any banking requirements then please contact the Bank as they would love to assist you - they are great people to deal with.
