22.01.2022 We are proud of Servicemen for serving the Indian Armed Forces and their services for the Imperial Army. They sacrificed their lives to preserve peace and freedom; which we the next generation are enjoying today. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them. We salute you! Lest we forget. Thank You ANZACs ... #anzacday #lestweforget #anzacs #ANZAC See more

22.01.2022 Message from Ravinderjit Singh, Director - Infrastructure & Deputy Chairperson Australian Sikh Association Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh... With the grace of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and support of Sadh Sangat ji, the management of Australian Sikh Association (ASA) has been able to commence the construction works of pergola at the Guru Nanak Punjabi School located at Gurughar premises yesterday. It has been a long standing demand by parents and school staff to provide students with shelter from hot sun and rainy days. This project was started during the last ASA board term and approval was obtained in 2018. The current ASA board took on this project and has undergone lengthy process of obtaining quotations, assessment and negotiations with the builders to finally start the construction works yesterday. The members of the previous board and current board have equally contributed in the successful launch of the project. I thank Mr RT Singh ji, Mr Hardip Singh ji, Mr Narinder Singh ji in helping me to collectively deliver this project for the Gurughar. Finally I would like to thank the wider Sadh Sangat ji for their contributions and seek their guidance on future need based projects. I also request members of the Sangat to come on board and contribute to future projects in which ever way you can. We are also feeling excited to bring you our next major $4 million project of Kitchen and Darbar Hall extension very shortly. Please stay tuned. Thank you!

21.01.2022 On the occasion of ‘#HumanRightsDay’ tomorrow, our local MP and inspiring leader, ‘Michelle Rowland MP - Federal Member of Greenway' has addressed the Parliament session to highlight the injustices being done to the farmers and their ongoing protests in India. Dear Michelle - We thank you for your efforts in bringing up this issue before the Australian Parliament and your discussions with Indian High Commission, Canberra to urge him to resolve this matter with Indian Government. We hope that Indian Government's aggressive attitude towards the biggest and peaceful #FarmersProtest in the world will change their thinking and agree to farmers demands sooner. We pray for the safety of our Farmers who have been camping in the open during chilly winter nights at the borders of New Delhi since November 27.

20.01.2022 Currently, we are experiencing difficulties broadcasting on YouTube; audio is fine but for video, it is displaying a green screen. We will update here once resolved. If you have experience in troubleshooting computer software, please pm us. Note: 24X7 LIVE radio is working via ASA, TuneIn & Harman Radio websites.

19.01.2022 A big thank you to Hon’ble Scott Morrison (#ScoMo) MP, the Prime Minister of Australia and Jodi McKay MP, leader of the opposition Parliament of NSW for their encouraging #Vaisakhi greetings. Credit goes to all the Sikh Community for helping their fellow Australians whenever there is a need.

18.01.2022 NO FARMER NO FOOD ASA condemns the brutality of Indian Forces towards the farmers; they are suppressing the democratic right to protest and freedom of speech. We are working with Local, State & Federal authorities to raise awareness regarding the violation of human rights. You can also contribute by contacting your local MP. Please pray for the safety of our farmers! #IStandWithIndianFarmers... #FarmersProtest See more
