19.01.2022 Don’t forget we’re down at the Old Bus Depot Markets today until 4pm! Our Christmas trees and baubles are proving quite popular - I guess I’ll be busy making more this week! You can order your Christmas trees in any colour combination - whatever colours are Christmas to you!
19.01.2022 Only 5 days now until you join us at Exhibition Park in Canberra this Saturday between 9am and 4pm. REASON 5: Delicious food and drinks. Get your stretchy pants... ready, Canberra! With amazing food like greek kebabs, potato on a stick and empanadas, you’ll need them! Follow it up with mouth-watering sweets like coconut ice cream served with fresh fruit, fairy floss, mini bundt cakes, Transylvanian Chimney Stax and churros for afters. And don’t forget to grab a coffee, or perhaps a cold drink? We’ve got plenty to choose from, including flavoured sugarcane juice, fruit smoothies or maybe a cheeky aperol spritz is what you’re after? If you’re vegan or can’t do gluten, we’ve got you covered with offerings like the coconut or açai ice cream and vegan baked goods. (We’ve also got a stallholder who sells stretchy pants just saying)

06.01.2022 Just 2 days to go now. You’re joining us at Exhibition Park in Canberra this Saturday between 9 am and 4pm, right? REASON 2 TO BE THERE: Raising money for chari...ty. We are not asking for any entry fees at Etsy Made Local this year, but as you enter and exit, you will have lovely volunteers shaking buckets at you for two extremely important charities. And you can’t say no to a bucket shaker. We’re pretty sure that’s against the law. We’re collecting gold coin donations for Kiss Goodbye to MS - Australia and the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal We’re also setting up a collection table for products for Share the Dignity’s Christmas drive to help support homeless women and children.

While you’re enjoying your lunch (or second lunch, or lunch dessert), listen to the musical stylings of our three buskers - Pretty Out There, Rod Jackson, and Will and Annie. Snap a selfie under one of our handmade floral arbours supplied by Canberra Arbours, or in front of our big CBRmade sign supplied by Love Letters CBR And don’t forget - Etsy Made Local is entirely indoors.. with air conditioning!

01.01.2022 Wow, guys! Etsy Made Local is tomorrow, can you believe it? We are very busy today setting up the Budawang Pavilion Exhibition Park in Canberra so you can visit... us tomorrow between 9am and 4pm. REASON 1 TO JOIN US: Support and shop hand made sellers. All of the stallholders with us for Etsy Made Local have been very busy hand making their products in prep for tomorrow. There’s hopefully no blood, but definitely a lot of sweat and tears that go into sustaining a handmade business. We make each of our products with care and attention to detail often not found in factory-made products. We make it with love, for you to love it.
