25.01.2022 WHAT TO EXPECT AT A GLITTER BAR At GMA we provide everything from our station, stools, mirror, glitter and jewels - you don’t need to provide a thing other than a spot to set up! Our set-up is just a metre wide so we can fit in almost everywhere at your party. We also have an inspiration menu (soon to be expanded) for you to choose from on the day. ... We do ask that when picking a spot for us - ensure we’re not too close to doorways or anywhere we can get bumped while glittering. If it’s sunny and hot, a shady place for us will be appreciated. We're currently building a better glitter station to suit larger events, creating a new logo, and a new website too! over the next few weeks you'll be seeing some changes, but don't worry! our setup will be just as pretty as it is now, just newer and easier to set up and down. 16.01.2022 Happy Friday November is filling up for Saturday nights, so be sure to get in contact to avoid missing out. We ask for a deposit to secure a booking so your date is confirmed with us. If we didn't take a deposit, it would be very easy to get ghosted, show up for events that aren't happening, or have cancellations the day of. This hurts us as a business, as well as others who missed out on a date they wanted Lucky we have such amazing clients. Of course, things happen, if you need to make changes or postpone an existing booking, we're happy to work with you on amendments. Big thanks to Jade for letting me snap this last weekend

10.01.2022 Are you looking for a few extra hours and love parties, glitter and people? Read on! We're looking for a glitter technician to assist with hens parties, birthdays and special events. Two hours here and there on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays is required, as well as your own transport as this is a portable business. The position is casual and would suit a uni student, or someone looking for extra work now and then. You just need to be a people person, reliable and creative. ... 10.01.2022 You've danced the night away with your sparkles and now it's time to wash it off. What's the best way to do this? When glitter is applied to bare skin, it may take a little longer to remove. This is why I use a weaker solution to apply the glitter so it comes off easier on children. When wearing makeup, foundation acts as a barrier between the glitter and the skin which makes it quicker to remove. Below are a few methods you can use when the party's over for both of the above... 1) Glitter is best removed on wet skin, not dry. Use a facial cleanser and warm water to remove, taking care to cleanse away from the eyes. 2) Add a few drops of makeup remover or oil when applying cleanser and continue as above 3) Use a makeup removing oil and follow with a cleansing wipe I find that a mix of makeup remover and cleanser works the best for me best done over a sink, or in the shower. Don't forget to re-use your gems! cleanse the back of them to remove makeup residue and store away for a craft project or future glitter.

10.01.2022 The idea for @glittermeadelaide popped up when I was planning my own birthday. Back then, bell tent and boho themes were appearing, and modern photobooths were getting better and better, but I felt that was all in the market. I wanted to source some entertainment that was different, engaging, suited everyone, and didn't cost an arm and a leg for a few hours. 2 years later we're a birthday favourite for the same reasons. We're a portable glitter service providing a modern entertainment aspect to hens parties, birthdays, community events, christmas parties and special events all over Adelaide. Our standard glitter service runs for 2 hours and glitters up to 25 people (full face glitter) We also offer 1 hour sessions for kids parties or smaller events.... For community events (or Christmas parties, fundraisers, festival) where there are a lot of people, we can tailor packages to suit, or operate on a 'as many people within the time frame' basis Our setup includes all the glitter and jewels you can dream of, a glitter station and stool, and someone to apply the glitter. 03.01.2022 We’re still accepting applications for a casual glitter artist to join the team! Glitter Me Adelaide travels all over Adelaide providing unique party entertainment at an affordable price. We’ve glittered at festivals, community events, nightclubs and hundreds of private parties from hens nights to birthdays. We’re looking for a fun, reliable and friendly addition to our glitter gang who can autonomously conduct glitter bars on the weekends. As this is a portable business -... you’ll need to have a car to get around. Shifts are generally two hours long and you’ll recieve a generous hourly rate to boot. Please note that equipment is pickedup from Glenelg.
