10.01.2022 Meet Team GLM: Maddie! Maddie has been teaching with GLM since 2019 and will be teaching Intermediate Contemporary and Intermediate Hip Hop in 2021. She began dancing in 2005 at Eileen Phillips Dance Academy and has been dancing ever since, with considerable experience in many styles, including Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Jazz. Outside of teaching and dancing at GLM, Maddie works as a full-time Registered Midwife in... the local area. In her spare time, Maddie loves to bake, regularly treating her colleagues with sweet treats with cakes, cupcakes and slices! Maddie loves dance because of the electric feeling of performing on stage, the flexibility, friends made and mental benefits. She feels GLM is like a second home and loves teaching in such a positive environment. The students Maddie teaches are a pleasure and she loves the way in which they both laugh and develop in every lesson.
