15.01.2022 Letter to Families: Global Art Rouse Hill Closure The situation regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve around the world. In the past few days, we have heard from families who are seeking guidance on precautions and we have heard from those who are expressing concerns. We all understand that we have a social responsibility to each other in situations like this as we are one community. Here in our house, we take this responsibility seriously. The safety of our... students and staff is our priority. Hence, we have decided to close the school for the time being and potentially re-open after the holidays of Easter.(Depends on the situation) For accurate information, please feel free to log on to our web site www.globalartaustralia.com.au or Globalart app on your smart phone. During the closure of the school, we will not deduct the credits. In order to continue studying during the breaks, parents and students are encouraged to download the free courses through our Globalart app on your smart phones. (Currently under testing) Please get in touch with our friendly staff to get hold of the make up lessons after the school are re-opened. 06.01.2022 Novel Coronavirus advice for parents Dear Parents Our new term for year 2020 starts on Wednesday 29 January 2020. we are providing advice to our families on the guidelines that all NSW Schools and study centers will be following in relation to novel coronavirus.... The Department of Education is working with the Ministry of Health to monitor and respond to the unfolding international novel coronavirus situation. As per usual guidance, staff and children who are unwell with respiratory illness should remain at home until symptoms resolve. Schools will continue to follow the Infection Control guidelines that are provided by the Department. In accordance with national public health guidelines, only those who are close contacts (eg: live in the same household) of confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus infection should be excluded from school for a period of 14 days since last contact with the case. NSW Health has processes in place to identify any close contacts of cases confirmed in Australia. Advice about not attending school would be provided to these close contacts. Children and staff who have recently returned from overseas and are well, and are not close contacts of a confirmed case, are able attend school as normal. NSW Health has information available on its website.
