25.01.2022 SOLD SOLD. SOLD SOLD - a bit sad to let it go!! Well, after quite a bit of enjoyable work and getting in a lot of easily available parts from Europe, this little beauty came up very nicely and is ready to go. This is a practical "Classic" if ever there was one. Quite something when you consider its a 70-year old design. The surprising thing is they are just so much fun to drive in a spirited way. It is a cleverly designed minimalist masterpiece of a car. How does a 70-year ...old design, with just 602cc and 29hp, weighing 580kgs, 4 doors, four seats and a boot, that is usable in modern traffic, is comfortable and not that slow (hmmmm), have no modern equivalent? Someone missed a trick here. 2CVs are a captivating sculptured work of "Bauhaus Art". The roof rolls back, they cost cents to run, and they make everyone smile. 24.01.2022 These two 1988 Morgan +8s are now on the water to Australia. The red one arriving mid October and the royal ivory car arriving in mid November 2018. Both cars are in excellent condition and have low milages and long history files. The red Morgan has cream leather interior and a host of extras. I did up this car already in the UK and it will be for sale by mid October. The ivory Morgan with cream interior will still receive a burr walnut dash and more distinctive interior alterations. Watch this space for more information closer to the date when these cars will be complianced and registered in Australia.

19.01.2022 After re-commissioning this beautiful 1955 Mercedes-Benz 220A Ponton and lots of new parts put in she is running very nicely. I take the car to Melbourne and ship it to the UK this weekend.

18.01.2022 This absolutely magnificent 1987 Citron 2CV Bamboo is on its way to Australia now. This car has been completely re-built with uncountable new and genuine parts. Body, chassis, floors, engine/gearbox etc. That was 9 years ago and then only driven 1000 miles since. This is evidenced by the yearly mileage recordings of MOT certificates. The car has been completely checked over and presents as new and drives like it as well.

17.01.2022 Well, good things take time, like searching for a needle in a haystack. But here it is: A 1988 Citroen 2CV Dolly in mint condition. She shall arrive in Australia later this year. Then for sale and of course fully Australian complianced and registered. Give me some time for more details and photos later on.

17.01.2022 The 1955 Mercedes 220A has arrived in the UK. Through customs and awaiting registration. Shall be on sale 13 July 2016 at Brightwells Classic Car Auctions in Leominster, Herefordshire.

16.01.2022 The Citron 2CV is coming along nicely. Fully serviced, new complete exhaust system, new soft top, new interior lining, new dash board lining, new lagged heater tubes, new gear linkage and lots more. Just converting to electronic ignition, then she is ready to go. Its a very rare 1984 Deux Chevaux Beachcomber, with 602cc two cylinder air cooled engine. Starts on the button, runs very sweetly but wont win speed competitions. The ingenious suspension system delivers comfort second to none. The refurbished seats are incredibly comfortable although they look a bit like garden chairs.

14.01.2022 SOLD . SOLD . SOLD . SOLD . SOLD . SOLD . SOLD . SOLD . SOLD This amazing CLK500 still looks and drives like a new car. Only 117100km with mostly Mercedes Benz servicing and just a big service completed. This 2003 Mercedes Benz CLK500 has got the 131 V8 engine fitted, rather than the later 273 engine that caused expensive problems with the balancing shafts between 2004 and 2008. It has the smoothest running V8 engine, comfortable but sporty suspension and a terrific fully automatic and upholstered soft top. With the top closed even at high speed there is no wind noise and it feels like a saloon car.

11.01.2022 Just acquired another Morgan Plus 8 in the UK. Yes it is red again but this time with lovely stone leather interior and burr walnut dash board. It is a 1988 model with very low mileage (32K). Nicely specced up but will upgrade once in the UK. As it needs a bigger radiator and fan and as always changes to front and rear suspension, the roll bar comes off, and I am sure Ill find some more things to improve. I shall be using it for a bit in the UK before shipping it to Australia later in the year.

08.01.2022 Working on this great little "Deux Chavaux" has been keeping me fairly busy. Fitting head rests to the seats to start with, then sorting out quite a number of electric gremlins (not my cup of tea, and I am struggling, but eventually I got it all sorted). Fixing some technical bits and now attacking the interior, which needed some TLC. Still not quite there as yet, but she really comes along nicely. This is basically a very sound car, which makes the job enjoyable (apart from the electrics that is). I didnt call an auto-electrician, by mentioning that it is a Citron 2CV, the answer would have just been: "OMG!"

08.01.2022 This beautiful "Deux Chevaux" arrived in Australia now, is complianced and fully road registered. I drove her from Brisbane to Adelaide without any incidents, ...and arrived last night. Watch this space for further updates and more photos. I encountered a few hick-ups trying to ship the 2CV to Australia. For the past 15 years I use "Roll-on-Roll-off" but my booking for the Citron was cancelled due to new Australian regulations. The car/ship has to be fumigated before shipment to Australia, but the usage of the fumigation chemicals is prohibited in the UK. I therefore changed to ship in a container, which should leave the UK port today. There could however arise an extension of fumigation rules to containers as well. I keep my fingers crossed. Life is getting more complicated where ever one looks. Sign of the times!

08.01.2022 SOLD. - SOLD - SOLD - SOLD CITRON 2CV If you are searching for an as new Citron 2CV I think you just found one. My Deux Chevaux has been completely rebuilt and only driven 1000 miles since the rebuilt 9 years ago. This is documented by the yearly UK Mot certificates. So this is not a fresh restoration but stood up to the rigours of time albeit being kept in a heated garage all those years and never driven in the wet or in winter. The car presents like new and drives a...s such as well. After arriving in Australia the 2CV was re-commissioned, complianced and fully registered in Queensland. I drove without incident all the way to Adelaide where this beautiful example is now offered for sale. The car is Australian complianced and fully registered, ready to be driven away by a new happy owner. A usable reliable classic Soi easy to work on.

New will be fitted: Burr Walnut dash, stainless steel dual exhaust system, large radiator and fan, front suspension upgrade with roller bearings and steering shock absorber.

04.01.2022 A 1988 Morgan +8, 3 owner car with only 56,000 miles on the clock and extensive history. Now on its way to Australia

02.01.2022 SOLD. SOLD. SOLD. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD The 1988 Morgan +8 is now ready for sale. The front suspension has been upgraded to new kingpins and bushes plus roller bearings, Mulberry steering damper system and Koni shocks. This makes the steering a lot lighter. The rear suspension has been converted to the more current and more comfortable layout with cross bar and Koni shocks. A new Burr Walnut dashboar has been fitted with matching Moto Lita wooden steering wheel a...nd instruments converted to chrome bezels. The black leather seats are re-dyed and look fabulous. Side intrusion bars are fitted to the doors by retaining the door pockets. New anti draft screens were fitted to the wind screen and stainless steel bonnet stays. Easy hood lifters are fitted as well which makes putting up the hood so much easier. The car was converted to a stainless steel dual exhaust system from Leibrands UK, with stainless steel headers, stainless main mufflers and stainless end resonators. This gives a beautiful V8 sound (not loud) and some power increase. The car has been complianced, road worthy completed and registered in Queensland as my company is still registered there. This is a lovely Morgan with a very rare complete service history from new. A very important improvement was introduced by the Morgan factory in late 1986. The ash timber frame is Cuprinol-dipped to prevent rot and the body is sprayed with "wings off" with ICI 2K two-pack sythetic paint. The steering was massively improved by the new rack and pinion set up. Morgans of this era are especially sought after. This car is now fully and thoroughly serviced and ready for a new owner. The price is: AU$82,500 incl. GST plus on road costs which varies from state to state. For the outstanding condition of this Morgan +8 this price is extremely competetive.

02.01.2022 Off to the UK next week. Busy to get the Morgan Plus 8 ready for Australian compliance. Still looking for a nice 2CV to import. How about a small, very light and sturdy caravan. The Hymer Eriba Puck would be the ticket. Unfortunately a good one is quite expensive but lasts forever.
