24.01.2022 Get toe tapping with the latest TVC created by Global Pictures for Lowes Menswear's summer shorts campaign!

24.01.2022 This frame grab produce by Global Pictures is from the latest TV ad for Lowes Menswear. The commercial was shot in a studio in Sydney. For this opening shot, we laid grey drop sheets covered in grey sand and rock on the floor and hung a black background. The video was filmed in slow motion to give it the low gravity moon walking effect. Finally, our VFX and animation team member rotoscoped the cast and composited the Earth background in while also blending the curved cratered moon scape in with our floor. Did this cost the Earth to do (pun intended)? No. It was quite affordable and the result looks great!

15.01.2022 Here Global Pictures are filming a corporate communications video for a legal firm. The video is presented by two of the firms partners. Having a professionally controlled autocue on set makes it very easy for the presenters to deliver their 5 minute script. Neither of the presenters had been in front of the camera before but they delivered their parts like professional TV presenters as the autocue operator controls the speed of the script, working with the pace of the person speaking. 15.01.2022 This year for the Lowes Fathers day campaign Global Pictures setup a 6 meter wide green screen in the TV studio at Sydney Props Studios and created a wildly entertaining bungee jumping scenario. Prior to the shoot, we filmed the background plates and working from these we were able to match the lighting so that once the talents scenes shot on green were keyed and composited into the backgrounds everything would match. Ensuring lighting, framing and perspective is matching is the key to a successful green screen composite. We hope you enjoy this behind the scenes look at how we did it.

01.01.2022 In June/July we shot this little doco. Greg's teeth were chipped, crooked and discoloured and it was affecting his smile. Getting married next year to the love of his life, Greg was determined to be able to smile in the wedding photos. So with the help of Mona Vale Dental and a new process called Digital Smile Design, Greg will now be able to enjoy the big day with his bride Michelle. Shot and directed by Ben Kumanovski with Carl De Masi and Drew Bontoft. Sound mixed by John Hresc at Sydney Sound Brewery.
