05.01.2022 Global Surrogacy - Single and Same Sex Surrogacy Options - Georgia 2019

02.01.2022 We just returned from a working holiday that included Kyiv, Ukraine and Tbilisi, Georgia. As we departed the airport for Europe, while we were away and just in the last few days we read a number of articles highlighting international surrogacy "horror stories". We have had many clients undertake surrogacy in Ukraine, Georgia, Russia, Greece, Thailand, Mexico, USA, Canada and India without incident and without any delay in returning home. If you don't do solid research abou...t the agency, clinic or overseas lawyers you engage or about the laws in that country or about the procedures you need to undertake to obtain citizenship and passport of your home country then yes, you can expect to suffer delays. If you don't have the documents you need when you are overseas with your newborn then it will take a lot longer to exit that country. That said I have never had a client experience longer than 6 weeks in the foreign country. Most are home 4 weeks after the birth of their child. DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST. See more
