25.01.2022 Tunnelling update: We’ve successfully completed welding Bella’s cutterhead. This part of the TBM weighs 450 tonnes and is Bella's most important part. It will... do all the hard work, cutting through dirt and rock, 24 hours a day, seven days per week for around 18 months. The cutterhead is now ready to be lifted and installed onto the tunnel boring machine in one piece. Tunnelling starts mid-year. 22.01.2022 Do left handers weld better?
21.01.2022 2nd year apprentice doing his AWS D1.2 aluminium welder qualification test supervised by leading hand and witnessed by one of our welding supervisor/inspectors. Apprentice did a great job. Make the most of any downtime from Covid 19 and get your welder qualifications back up to date.
