23.01.2022 Our hydraulic ram pump will keep a water tank full by pumping water up from a nearby stream, provided the stream has sufficient fall and flow to provide enough pressure to drive the pump. Running costs are insignificant once the pump is installed. Our customers in Australia use them for household water, small scale irrigation, drinking water for animals, keeping tanks ready for fire-fighting, ande more.

15.01.2022 Oil Search PNG has chosen the Glockemann 320 water powered pressure pump for its new project to deliver a continuous supply of stream and spring water to several communities, so the people can draw water from convenient central taps instead of having to cart it themselves. The first installation is at Hebaiya village, population 500, in Nipa-Kutubu District, Southern Highlands Province. A small dam collects water from a spring, providing sufficient drop, gravity and pressure for three Glockemann pumps to drive around 43,000 litres of water a day through one common delivery pipe for 450 metres up a hillside 47 metres high and into four storage tanks, linked to a village tap.

Glockemanns Roy Bird and Luke OHare took part in the ceremonial launch of the project - phase 2 of Oil Searchs drought relief program with Oil Search Community Affairs executives and local government officials. The Hebaiya set-up was designed by Glockemann Water Pumps and Genesis Engineering. Oil Search plans this new WaSH project to deliver clean safe water and sanitation to a number of communities in its project areas in partnership with local government.
