We will be open for busy business from THIS Thursday the 17th of September!!!! Wo! Wo! Wo! ... I will keep this as short & sweet as possible! Please take note We are currently working our bootays off to restructure all appointments and get all of you in ASAP! There is only one fair way to do this - and it is to pick up from where appointments are in this Thursday and we will go from there! TEXT MESSAGE REMINDERS I will be enabling our appointment reminder messages. So you WILL receive a reminder text the day prior to your appointment (please respond Y to confirm) along with a friendly reminder phone call from us girls If you DO NOT show up to your appointment after confirming a no show fee applies as normal. We certainly are busy little ’s In the same breath this is a blessing & a curse as we do get BOOKED OUT up to 3 weeks in advance (currently.) Covid lockdowns are NOT caused by us nor are the implications they cause on your appointments. Take a moment to realise that whilst you may have missed out on a nail appointment, we may have missed out on a wage. We are working harder and longer to ensure we can meet your needs, all we ask in return is that you appreciate this by being kind and accepting of ...issues that are out of our control when speaking with our staff. 17.01.2022 Ok gang here it is.... the update.... Im sure most of you will have heard by now that as per the announcement yesterday from Dan Andrews that the outcome unfortunately is not as we hoped. I will keep this short & sweet ... How it looks for now Beauty will not be allowed to open until November. We will be deleting all appointments from this point on up until November If we receive any updates between now and November HOWEVER we will look to touch base before the beginning of November to advise clients who have EXISTING BOOKED IN appointments and to advise on appointment availability. This outcome is not what we hoped & it continues to upset & effect ALL of us so please be mindful if you wish to leave comments below My heart goes out to all businesses effected by this outcome weather it be big or small. All we can do is just take it one day at a time, just keep moving, find something that makes you happy & do it to get though each day if you need. Just KEEP ON KEEPIN ON!!!! As previously mentioned, we have enabled our text message reminders so if you have an appointment booked you will receive your Appointment Reminder 24hrs prior once again. Simply reply Yes as instructed in the reminder text so we know you will be attending NOTE: if you havent received a reminder message 24hrs prior and believe you have an appointment please call us to confirm, please do not attend without confirmation. If you are feeling unwell or need to cancel your appointment please contact us BEFORE confirming in order to re-book. Not having ample notice to fill cancelled appointments means longer wait lists which in turn means longer wait times to rebook. ATTENTION: Our standard cancellation policy will apply once bookings are confirmed by you. Finally, where possible please avoid rebooking appointments unless for the reasons outlined above. We are trying to accomodate everyone as best we can however we are bound by current restrictions. 13.01.2022 Just a quick note gang!!! WALK INs We normally dont take walk ins as we generally are booked out at least up to a week in advance - to which we are VERY GRATEFUL ... Of coarse..... normally you if you happen to walk in and we have an available spot we would LOVE to do your nails!!! HOWEVER At this current time we ARE NOT taking walk ins as we are limited to how many people are allowed in the salon. So please CALL us beforehand ANOTHER NOTE: We DO NOT do SNS in any way, shape or form! 12.01.2022 Today is not R U OK day but I would just like to say NO I am NOT OK at this moment! This is very out of character for me but this holds a very close spot in my heart & I feel I must share! If you think you know how to run a successful business but DONT HAVE ONE then please go right ahead and open one!... With an amazing team backing me the entire time I have been running a business for 10 years and I/WE ARE STILL LEARNING! If you dont have a business - then keep your thoughts to YOURSELF! If you think you know - YOU DONT If I want your opinion - ILL ASK! Did the government provide assistance for business - YES, THEY DID! But let me be CRYSTAL CLEAR, This assistance was to keep people in work & business running during closure/semi closure/reduced hours or being forced to change the running of normal trading in order to try sustain & remain open post covid playing catch up and for some unfortunately starting from the ground up. Some businesses were entitled to ALL assistance offered. Some businesses were entitled to SOME assistance offered. Some businesses were entitled to NO ASSISTANCE! Each and every single business is set up differently & has different needs, which are PRIVATE! So, before you go offering an opinion or THINK you know what your talking about in regards to what business have been given as to what there individual needs are - maybe think twice as hard before you speak! Our business, our team, and all involved in the running in anyway are greatly important to me, so YES I do take it personally if I feel attacked in anyway and refuse to bite my tounge any longer. This is peoples livelihood we are talking about here. Its serious. So Im speaking out now, and I will stand up for my fellow business owners! If you have appointments booked from Thursday 6th - Saturday 8th we will be in contact with you to see IF we can accommodate you earlier. ... Again we ask for your patience as we work through this We will not be taking any new bookings from this point on. Bookings will remain closed until we know more about dates of when we can recommence services. 09.01.2022 Cancelation policy UPDATE Hello all, In relation to our cancelation policy it is a strict 24hrs. ... If you cancel your appointment within 24hrs from confirming your appointment then 50% of your booked service fee will be added to your next appointments service charges. This is a long standing policy that you will have noticed we are communicating about both in the Salon and on social media continuously to avoid any confusion or argument. A new condition to this policy will be that if you are a new client to Glos we will require a 50% deposit for your service when booking your appointment. You will then pay the balance on the day following the completion of your service. If you do not show up to your appointment or cancel said appointment within 24hrs of confirming then you will forfeit the 50% deposit paid for the service.

08.01.2022 Annnd.......... That’s a wrap!!!! Last set of nails for 2020! THE NAIL BAR is OFFICIALLY ... C.L.O.S.E.D for 2020 What a year 2020 has been!!!! I won’t bore you all with the logistics of the past year. We are all WELL aware of it I cannot thank all our wonderful clients, friends & family enough for all the ongoing support, not only the past 11 years! But especially THIS YEAR I am so grateful to you all I feel so blessed to have such a magnificent community behind me and our business. A special shout out to my main squeeze @James Murphy for all the behind the scenes running around & constant putting up with me & my need to nail it. I appreciate all the dinners you wait to have with me, when I get home late so we can end the day together over a meal & debrief of our days I don’t for a second think I have come this far on my own...... THEY say it takes a village to raise a child well I don’t know because I don’t have a child....... HOWEVER this salon is as good as to me and my baby and I wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for the constant ongoing support of my village & this community.....
