13.01.2022 It is that time of year again when we are starting to plan for the year ahead. If you haven’t already enrolled your child for Kindergarten in 2021 it is important that all paper work is finalised as soon as possible. It is also important that you ring the school immediately if your children WILL NOT be returning to Glossodia Public School in 2021. Any questions? Please contact the principal on 4576 6099.

12.01.2022 Our K-2 students will be celebrating the last day of school on Wednesday 16 December, with a whole day of activities. The day will start off with a groovy disco in the air conditioned hall, followed by a party box lunch and an age appropriate movie to finish off the day. A note will go home soon with all the details, so keep an eye out for it and order your lunch via the My School Connect APP so you don’t miss out!
12.01.2022 I hope you are all enjoying time with your children, as there are only 8 days to go before all Year 1-6 students return, on Friday 29 January. New information has come out today informing us that COVID regulations are back. As you are already aware from last year’s communication, from Week 5 we were asking all parents to drop off and pick up their children from the gates as we did for most of 2020. This time frame has now been moved forward to keep in line with the NSW Health... advice and regulations put in place by the Department of Education. As it stands, parents will not be able to bring their children in at the beginning of the year. However, I will be allowing kindergarten parents and Year 1 parents to bring their children into school grounds and down to the COLA area to kiss them good bye on the first day and all of Week 2. Parents are not to stay and socialise or wait for the bell to go. Teachers will ensure that everyone is doing their part to keep us all safe. However, I would advise for the sake of your child, to drop them off at the gate from day one if you are strong enough, to make their transition easier when it comes to Week 3. I will be at the gate to welcome everyone in and to support you and your child to get back into a school routine. Your support with this will be greatly appreciated by us all. We can’t wait to see you all again!
