24.01.2022 You know those people that have beautiful skin and do nothing ?! . Well here is the thing, I use to look at people like that and think why can’t my skin be like that. ... . This would then end up with me at the shops trying to find my miracle magic in a bottle cream , scrub , cleanser , mask that was going to make my skin magically heal. . Guess what ?! ...... it got worse ........ so much worse. I hated leaving the house and going to school because we weren’t allowed to wear makeup to hide it. I felt so insecure already and my face looked like something had mauled me! . I now know after years and years of study that one product form the super market does not fix your skin ! Phew . 22.01.2022 This is the me you will see on socials and in the clinic :) happy , energetic and bubbly . That’s doesn’t mean I don’t have super lows or moments of self doubt! Like at the moment I’m about to take a huge leap of faith in the middle of a pandemic and do something amazing ( which I will share with you soon). I’m literally my self , thinking of all the possible things that could go wrong, how I could fail and what that would feel like. ... . I struggle , I cry , I have no motivation . I’m human , we all are! What I have learnt is you can’t have happiness and success without some crappy lows. . I am go to let you in on my secret ! I see I psychologist once a month and download all of my internal self talk. It is the best thing I could have ever done for my self. To understand why I’m feeling the way I’m feeling , analyse and breakdown down situations. I feel 10 times lighter at the end and I’m such a better person for myself and others . There are so many things that can tip someone into a place of negativity and horrible headspace. But having someone wholeheartedly unbiased in your corner is beyond helpful !! . If you are stuck and don’t know what to do , reach out for help ! Go to your doctor ask for a mental health care plan and do something for you !! . Tomorrow is R U OK day ! Ask this of others , but also ask it of yourself

19.01.2022 This is me in my happy place . Talking about foods and the way they can make your skin look and feel. Thinking about all the treatments I’m going to do and how I’m going to help change the way someone looks and feels about their skin ... . This week I can say has been one of the toughest yet, being true to myself and letting go of fear. Fear of what people might say , fear of hurting others , fear of failure. I know where my heart feels full and where I can help people the most and that’s why I will be saying goodbye to my nail service clients this year . But as one of my beautiful friends and mentors said to me yesterday as leaders we have to make tough decisions. . It’s tough , but I wouldn’t change it ! Growth doesn’t come easily , it’s painful , scary and doesn’t feel good at the time. But I know from all the other massive decisions I have made that it all works out and is so so powerful . This decision means that we can expand ! Yep you heard it ! I’m at it again !! Our salon is become 2 treatment rooms bigger ! What a year ! . For one cup of cabbage you need 1x cup Apple cider vinegar 1x tea spoon of sugar Sliced ten cabbage super fine and blanch quickly in boiling water then remove , combine with sugar and apple cider vinegar then fill glass jar with contents Enjoy with your favourite meals as a side :)
