25.01.2022 Congratulations to Ruth Edwards, Gloucester Thunderbolts Club Person of the Year, for the 2019-20 season. Ruth has worked tirelessly for the club for several years now in her capacity as Club Secretary, Food Tent co-ordinator for the Picnic Carnival and is always on the end of a stop watch on club nights. Keep up the great work Ruth!

25.01.2022 Just a reminder that the 20/21 season club registrations are now open via swim central. All you need to do is: Log into swim Central Select Store... Select Memberships Select the member name you are registering Select the product that applies Enter your active kids voucher number if applicable Add to cart Repeat for all family members Go to cart and pay Please note: It is a requirement of swim central that a parent or guardian register as a swimmer or non-swimmer for any children under the age of 18 years. There are help sheets available on both the swim central site and our club web page. Please contact Tamara at [email protected] for more assistance if required.

24.01.2022 Entries will open at 10am today Thursday 14th Jan 21 for the picnic carnival. Get in quick as we have capped numbers this year due to COVID-19. You will be asked to purchase an event ticket prior to nominating your events. The ticket is free but there is a charge per event.

21.01.2022 Dont forget to put your entries in by 12.30pm today for the 2nd distance swim. This week it is the 400IM being held on Tuesday 24th at 6am.

Please be at the pool by 6pm so we can get started and don't forget to bring along your club trophies from last season for age champs, runner ups and top 10 so the club president can do a quick recap, take some photos and welcome everyone back.

20.01.2022 Results from Round 3 week 2 are now available on the website. Another reminder that the 400IM distance swim schedule for 6am Tuesday 16th Feb has been moved to 6am Monday 15th Feb due to a clash with the high school zone swimming carnival. Entries are via swim central and the entry link is still under the 16th in that calendar.

20.01.2022 Mother and daughter combo, Amelia and Cara Gruisinga. Amelia was the 8 year girls age champion. Cara was age champion for the 21+ females and also Club Champion Female runner-up. Great work!!!

17.01.2022 Over the past couple of months the club committee has worked hard at designing a new club logo and we are now proud to be sharing it with you. We are looking forward to starting this season with the new look logo and hope all club members embrace the change.

16.01.2022 Congratulations Kaitlin Perry for being selected into the Swimming North Coast Junior Area Representative Squad a couple of months ago after qualifying for the swimming NSW long course junior state championships. As part of this squad, Kaitlin recently participated in a development day in Lismore

If you feel the page is missing anything please let the club committee know.

15.01.2022 Congratulations to Olivia Wade for some fantastic swimming at Port Macquarie last weekend. She scored herself 5 new PBs and a medal.

14.01.2022 Congrats to Kaitlin Perry with some great results last weekend at the NSW qualifying meet. Kaitlin scored herself 2 new PB's from 2 races and broke a club record for the 10 years girls 50m breast stroke. A great start to the season.

13.01.2022 Morning all, club night round 2 week 2 results are now available on the website and in swim central. Entries for Round 2 Week 3 will open at 9am today in swim central. This is the last of the club points rounds for this year. Thursday 17th Dec is Christmas Club night.

09.01.2022 2020-21 Season Memberships are now available to be purchased through Swim Central. All existing memberships will expire on 30/9/2020. Our season will commence 15th October 2020 so please ensure that you are registered prior to this date. 07.01.2022 This season we are going to be utilising swim central for all our club night entries. Each week an event link will be available on the events page of our website for you to nominate for each race on offer for each swimming member of your family. Nominations for our welcome back to club night week will open in swim central on Friday 9th October @ 9am and will close Wednesday 14th October @ 10pm. You will need to have registered for this season to access the link. If you are new to the club and are just trialing with us please email your details so we can get you organised to [email protected]

If you have received an age champ, runner up or a top ten trophy from last season please bring it along first night back as the club president would like to do a mini recap of awards and take some photos.

07.01.2022 A big congratulations to Kaitlin Perry for an awesome weekend of swimming at Banora Point for the SNC div.1 Championships. Kaitlin placed in all 8 of her events with 7 silver medals and 1 bronze. She scored herself 5 new PBs and broke another 3 club records and was announced the 10 years girls champions runner up.

05.01.2022 Club Night is Back on the 21st January 2021. Entries open in swim central Today, Friday 15th Jan at 9am and will close Wednesday 20th Jan at 10pm. Please let us know if you will not be attending as we are providing a sausage sizzle this week due to our cancelled Christmas night.

05.01.2022 Entries for the Picnic Carnival will open shortly and close on the 6th Feb 2021 or earlier if maximum numbers are reached. This year there will be a cap on the number of entries we can accept due to COVID-19 so you will need to get in quick. Entries are through Swim Central and I will let you know as soon as it's up and open.

04.01.2022 The 20/21 swimming season is nearly here and we are looking forward to sharing some exciting changes as we work our way through Swimming NSW and COVID-19 requirements to ensure we have a safe, happy and fun season for all members. Some of the changes we are looking into this season include: Fitting of new lane ropes in the pool thanks to a successful grant application from the previous committee.... Ensuring we meet COVID-19 requirements by implementing a COVID safe plan which will see us address the number of time keepers per lane, how we marshall the competitors and use of pool facilities. Using swim central for club night entries. Replacing the existing website with a Swimming Australia affiliated webpage. Recognition and rewards for swimmers. Rebranding of the club logo. Rolling out a new club uniform with which we hope all club members will purchase and wear with pride over the coming and future seasons. We would love all club members to provide input so please let us know if you have any suggestions. Information regarding registration and how to book your entries in for swim club this up comming season will be posted shortly.

Please refer to the club program located on the club website under events for what swims are on offer. Results from round 1 week 5 are now published on the club website and will be posted to swim central Monday afternoon.

01.01.2022 Our annual Picnic Carnival is creeping up fast so please save the date. This is a great carnival for those getting ready for school carnivals or wanting to start competing outside of club night. More information on entry and events on offer coming soon.
