24.01.2022 Here is Scanias new generation R620 Tractor, featuring a new and improved re-designed cabin inside and out to cater for optimal comfort and ease of use. Under the cabin sits a Euro 5 V8, with a thumping 620 Horse Power. We should start to see some of these getting about very soon!

22.01.2022 One of our Mobile Service Utes on an urgent in business hours breakdown in the guts of Canberra City. This big coach was laden with passengers and blocking a good portion of this busy street. We quickly got the big girl going and back into service. The customer was happy that downtime was saved, and passenger transfer to another coach was avoided!

16.01.2022 An urgent business hours call out saw Glover Mechanical on the Hume Highway to fix a nasty coolant leak on this Freightliner. A quick and confident diagnosis, and some speedy mechanical skills were in order to get this rig moving quickly, as it was blocking a good portion of this busy Highway.......

15.01.2022 Our Breakdown coverage area is quite vast! We go from Gundagai to the South Coast, Marulan to the Snowy Mountains, and everywhere in between these zones! Today required us to travel to Thredbo to assist a stranded bus load of school kids with a transmission fault. Sometimes the cold weather isnt kind on man or machine!! Not a bad view with the snow from todays office though!

12.01.2022 Sometimes it pays to be small and nimble! This truck broke down on the Hume Highway with a major exhaust manifold failure. Assisting boss man Benno who is under the vehicle, in an extremely tight situation. Not much room for tools let alone hands with this job, and definitely no room for glamour or nice nails! We didnt let it beat us though, and had the truck up and running again in a matter of hours!

11.01.2022 Being small and nimble has proven handy yet again today! A failed injector in the most hard to access position, on the number 6 cylinder in a short bonnet Western Star 4800.... Most modern fuel systems in todays trucks require you to record and program unit injector serial numbers to ensure optimum fuel injection and performance. A little extra technology and diagnostic equipment needed to get the job done right, but absolutely essential.

06.01.2022 This is the consequential damage caused by a dropped valve on a Scania 580hp V8. After 1.3 Million Kilometres, something had to let go. Yuck!

05.01.2022 Glover Mechanical on a Business Hours Breakdown at the Yass Service Centre today after the customer rang ahead. This kept his downtime to a minimum, coupled with a quick and easy fix to a leaking boost hose. This sweet rig was back up and rolling within half an hour!
