21.01.2022 We're excited to report that candles you purchased in Q3 2020 are going towards 60,000 trees being planted to restore koala habitats affected by last summer's bushfires. Carried out by our reforestation partner @onetreeplanted, the project is a beginning of a larger reforestation initiative aiming to plant 250,000 trees in Australia by 2025. The goal is to create a koala wildlife corridor by forming a linkage of habitat from Byron Bay westward towards Tenterfield, north to the Queensland border and south towards Grafton. Our participation in this close-to-home project wouldn't be possible without your support of our profit-for-purpose business. From the Glow Candy team, thank you. As part of our one for one model, every Glow Candy candle purchased since our launch in April to 30 June 2020 will count towards the millions of trees being planted which will help restore and conser...ve the Albertine Rift forests of Uganda. The Albertine Rift landscape is close to where Dr. Jane Goodall began her extraordinary career and fell in love with chimpanzees - our closest wildlife relatives.
