16.01.2022 Today I would like to acknowledge my father Orvo who died not long after my last Glow Girl post. That's why I've been so quiet. This is also why I closed the corner salon. To be with family and to have less things to fix. My dad was always so proud of me. He was the creator of many great things we touch and sit on here at Glow Girl everyday. ... We miss him today very much. Thanks dad.

We have been here for 20 years and we will be back. Regarding your eyebrows. Please try not to touch them. Contact us for counselling. But if you must touch them, use tweezers. A little from the middle and a few strays from underneath. Not too much. Remember that the arch should begin on the outside edge of the Iris. Arching too early is the most common mistake. And if you don't have a natural arch don't try to make one! Thick brows are in. A pencil or powder will make them more defined and distract from the strays beneath. Meanwhile.....the Glow Girls are just taking things day by day. Getting up, tick, exercising, tick, getting out of our PJs. Eating, tick tick. Breathing. Being grateful that we don't have to put our good health at risk. And generally trying to seek funding for the above. Basically one day at a time, trying not to freak out. We miss our chats so much. 08.01.2022 So we got lucky today and were included on the bottom of the essential services list. We always knew it!!! Within our staff we have tried social distancing but as you can see in this photo it's pretty hopeless. So we are operating one staff member per day, a time gap between customers and hygiene wise we are just like nurses. We are doing everything we can to stay well and to keep you well. We understand that things are changing daily and we will stay informed. We have our own challenges and feel the sadness in our community. So we are taking a rest Weds, Thurs and Friday this week and will be back in on Saturday. Our Covid-19 plan is on our website if you would like to read further.
