24.01.2022 Bumble Bee or Buzzing Bee breath is a fun way to tone down your fight or flight response (sympathetic nervous system) and bring about a sense of calm. Such a great way to start the day. I love the expression on my students’ faces, when they feel the vibrations in their throat and chest.

01.01.2022 Ever find yourself telling your child to 'just breathe?' I'm guilty of this and it goes down about as well as telling an anxious person to calm down - especially when dealing with tweens/teens. Instead, find varied and fun ways to get them to practice their breathwork when they are in a calm and receptive state. This way, it becomes part of their intrinsic toolkit and is easier to apply in times of need. This is a favourite in our house. It allows for creativity, healthy competition - who can get their ping pong to the end in the least number of breaths - and essentially a sense of calm.
