15.01.2022 The recently completed RMIT OurPlace. We are proud to be associated with the amazing team at @armarchitecture for this contemporary workplace. With a tight deadline and differing areas requiring various treatments, the project was always going to be a challenge - yet one we thoroughly enjoyed! Walking through the building you will find it all - good quality task lighting to moody laneways and starlit tree houses, a unique outcome! The various functions of each area from tas...k, break out spaces and corridors were individually thought through so that the feel is not one of a standard office area but more of a journey through entirely different spaces. The user experiences an animated feast for the senses around every corner. The designer’s intent was to use light to differentiate uses create pockets of and dynamic shadow as a medium to provide an additional level of detail within the modern office space.
