I loved creating these special edition candles, because to me they're just that - SPECIAL Bringing out these candles has allowed me to personally connect with our customers in a way we've never done before, and there's so much magic in that. So much thought has gone into the creation of these candles... everything from choosing the perfect glassware, to selectin...g the best-fitting fragrance, to deciding which crystals to use based on their healing properties. As we light ours at Glowpots headquarters we think of all the little angels whose stories our customers have shared with us over the last few days when purchasing their candles... We remember the babies who took years to conceive and didn't quite make it to their first ultrasound...the babies who were born sleeping and never made it out of hospital...the babies who made it home but couldn't stay long. 04.01.2022 In 2014 I started this little business venture which really was always what I called a "self-paid hobby" and a side hussle to my corporate 9-5 job. 6 months ago I lost my fulltime job and career in the travel industry thanks to Covid. Glowpots Candle Co. is now my sole source of income and my "full-time role". I'm still getting used to saying I'm self-employed and often catch myself saying I'm unemployed, because that's what it feels like when your business isn't yet profitab...le We've been pouring absolutely beautiful-smelling soy candles and melts for over 6 years. All our products are poured individually by hand, in small batches to ensure perfection! We use no nasties, just beautiful clean-burning pure soy wax which is 100% Parrafin-Free and enviro-friendly. Our wicks are cotton wicks and our scents are premium quality fragrance oils which fill your living spaces with the most incredible aromas. To all the customers who have been using our products since the beginning, thank you for your continuous support. To our new customers, welcome! Thank you for joining us on this journey, for believing in us and our products. A re-brand is on the cards but I'm still working out the perfect name and branding that resonates with our business's ethos. In the meantime we're still Glowpots Candle Co.
