24.01.2022 The safety of our babies, families and staff is our highest priority. In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak, we have implemented a range of additional safet...y measures. Effective 2.00pm, Monday, 16 November 2020, maternity patients may only have one adult support person / partner visit for the duration of their stay. Compassionate circumstances will be considered on request, please contact the hospital to discuss your situation. Any approved support person / visitor is subject to the following: Must be well with none of the following symptoms: o Fever o Runny nose o Sore throat o Cough o Chills o Shortness of breath o Loss of sense of smell or taste Must not have attended hot spot locations as detailed by SA Health Use hand sanitiser on arrival and departure Attend compulsory screening on arrival Follow other risk minimisation strategies as requested We will continue to monitor the advice from SA Health regarding this latest outbreak and will provide you with further information as this situation unfolds.
