25.01.2022 120 students have been measured up and Dance costumes have been ordered and are starting to arrive! Information and shop links will be hitting your Parent Lounge tomorrow! The letter has a whole heap of important info about performances, eisteddfods, costumes etc. It’s definitely one to save for future reference throughout the year.

21.01.2022 2020 Enrolments for Co-Curricular Performing Arts are now open! You will also find audition information for our 2020 School Musical, The Wizard of Oz, in the document! Yes, there are some new programs:... - Pre-Prep Piano, Music and Movement (3-5 year olds) - Pre-Prep Dance (3-5 year olds) - Pre-Prep Acro (3-5 year olds) - Acro Classes for our dancers (Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-6) - GLPS Rock Band (Grades 4-6) - Brass Ensemble The airtrack has arrived, our studios are being opened to preschoolers, some of our graduating students are busing back in the afternoon for lessons with their tutors and we are turning up the guitar amps! It's all systems go! 2020 is going to be a big year for our little artists as we continue to provide opportunities to engage, educate and excite! 17.01.2022 A little ‘pop-up’ of our concert band to celebrate a sunny start to the day! What a blessing to see our fellow students crowding around and cheering on our little band! We are looking forward to performing at the Twilight Carnival on April 30th. See you there!

15.01.2022 Another day of awesome rehearsals today with the entire cast (except Prep Dance and Miss Angie’s Speech and Drama students) from 8:30-3:00 today. We are so thankful to our volunteers cooking the BBQ, sewing costumes, supervising students, running rehearsals and painting sets. It’s going to be a brilliant day!

14.01.2022 2021 Enrolments for Co-Curricular Performing Arts are NOW LIVE! We have a number of new programs including: - Dance, Acro and Music for students from 3 YEARS OF AGE! - Small group ballet and jazz examination classes for CTSD Syllabus bundled with the corresponding troupe enrolment!... - Acro available to both dancers and non-dancers. - Acro for Prep. - Addition of 45 minute lessons for students playing instumental music at an AMEB Grade 2/3 level or high school students! - Musical Theatre Programs from Grade 1 all the way through to High School! 12.01.2022 *Families, please refer to letter sent out by Trudy Moala for all other details* All Co-Curricular Performing Arts Lessons are cancelled for the remainder of this week. Private and paired music lessons as well as small group drama lessons will be scheduled a makeup lesson in Term 2. Lesson allocations will still remain at 34 across the year which averages either 8 or 9 each term depending on the length of each term. Families will receive their scheduled makeup time via email ...from their individual tutor. We thank you for your understanding as they look at timetabling close to Term 2 when schedules and public holidays are all accounted for. Please note that dance and large group drama classes as well as ensembles will not be scheduled ‘makeup’ lessons however we regularly have additional lessons/rehearsals at lunch times before performances which will be the case as we prepare for our Twilight Carnival on April 30th. Wishing our students a lovely Easter break with plenty of music making, dramatizing and loungeroom concerts!

11.01.2022 What a blessing it was to have three of our Year 4 woodwind students prepare for their upcoming AMEB exams by performing for their friends at lunch. We are so proud of the progress of these students who started their woodwind journey as part of our Year 3 Immersion Program. These young musicians are 9 years old. Young learners can achieve amazing things when given amazing opportunities!

03.01.2022 On this lovely rainy Wednesday our musical theatre students were challenged by an improvised movement piece with the provocation music by the gorgeous Brodsky Quartet and Katie Noonan. The piece is entitled Night after Bushfire.

03.01.2022 Wow! What a fantastic evening of performances. Our students blew us away with their skills, artistry and team work. With over 300 children performing, there were so many highlights including seeing our 16 Performing Arts tutors supporting our students to achieve their goals! What a joy!!!!
