All lifters should purposely perform lifts in a variety of ways based on mobility, stability, flexibility limitations, functional patterns (musculoskeletal limbs/tendons) & injury history.... Squat is a triple flex extension (knee, hip & ankle). Most of the common issues while squatting are: -rising up onto their toes -lean forward excessively -knees caving inward. Sumo DÉFICIT squat has become one of my favourite exercises... healthy knee joints, deeper hip flexion with more glute activation.. . #less quad dominant than a squat #less hammie dominant than a deadlift . 3 sets 40kgs Dumbbell x 8reps (4secs tempo)
