25.01.2022 Campers arrive in 8hours. So much to do to get set up and make the week happen today, but it is going to be an awesome week watching the lives of many transform.

18.01.2022 The energy is gathering as we prepare for the annual Young Life Australia fundraising dinner. The office is filling with prizes to be auctioned, raffled and given away. Dr Chris Trethewy is a great speaker and has some great stories to share about his work at Tamworth Hospital and his Westpac helicopter work. Come and be inspired and help change the life of a young person with your support.

18.01.2022 Not sure if my facebook friends know, but Young Life Australia has had a partnership with Young Life in the Philippines for nearly 30 years and several of their communities have felt the full impact of typhoon Haiyan. One of our dear friends Daisy from Palompon has had over 90% of her community destroyed and they have no food or emergency supplies. The Young Life crew from Cebu are sending a team to Palompon to take food and emergency supplies as soon as possible. They will n...eed to be patient as their shipping lines are having difficulty on the scheduling because of a second typhoon (Zoraida) that came through on Tuesday. Therefore no boats are allowed to leave until it is deemed safe by the authorities. These boats will also fill quickly as many friends and relatives who live in Cebu will be trying to get to the most devastated regions in the storm zone to support those they know and love. If you would like to support the Young Life team in the Philippines we will be collecting donations so that they can continue to get food to Daisy and her community on Palompon and other Young Life communities impact by the typhoon. If you would like to support the wider relief effort, then World Vision Australia, The Australian Red Cross, Oxfam and others have relief funds operating.

17.01.2022 A great night with nearly 100 people for a prayer launch to Armidale Young Life's ministry year. What a great night and what a great community.

17.01.2022 So it begins. Off to Jindabyne tomorrow and campers arrive on Sunday afternoon. This is shaping as a great week and looking forward to all that the Lord has in store for us.

17.01.2022 Home after a truly remarkable week. So many personal mountains climbed and small victories won in the lives of many young lives. 25 young people made a decision to follow Jesus.

14.01.2022 Last full day of camp as we head home tomorrow. Wonderful to see so many campers take up the challenges through the week and make significant life changing decisions. Awesome.

13.01.2022 A great day and great weather. Campers are having a great time and enjoyed some time in lake Jindabyne. Tomorrow activities begin in ernest. Mt bikes, canoes, climb the mt, make a movie and much more.

11.01.2022 Great second day at camp, a cool start and then warmed up. A great group of campers and a wonderful work crew and summer staff who just love and serve the campers. Life transformation is exciting to watch and experience.

10.01.2022 Big night last night, sin talk and kids going crazy. Climbing the mountain today so should be fantastic to have 150people sharing the journey up and back. A great achievement day for many in camp and the the cross and resurrection tonight. A good day.

07.01.2022 Having a great time. Very hot here, we could do with some relief. Campers are having a great time trying new things and living life to the full. Brendan Paul Hatte spoke well last night and we saw lives transformed. Great days.
