Based in Launceston Gmac Safety provide our services on customer work sites throughout Tasmania. ... Working on construction sites and at height is required. Construction industry experience is an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will undergo on the job, theoretical and practical training to enable your duties to be performed to a high standard. Equipment, tools and company uniform will be provided for this position. Your duties may include: Installation of roof safety equipment, including walkways, guardrails, ladders, static lines and anchor points Inspection of height safety equipment Servicing of portable fire equipment Inspection and restocking of first aid kits Service and calibration of gas detection equipment To be successful your personal attributes will need to include: Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers Well presented Willingness and ability to learn quickly High level of attention to detail Hard working with a can-do attitude Travel as needed to fulfil customer commitments will be required. Gmac Safety often work for customers in a position of trust, the successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Check and gain registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
