18.01.2022 Swatch libraries, also known as color libraries, are standardized sets of named colors that help you because they’re the most commonly and frequently used sets of color swatches. You can avoid trying to mix your own colors, which can be a difficult or tedious process to get right. For example, InDesign includes a swatch library for Pantone spot colors and a different library for Pantone process colors. These libraries are quite useful if you’re working with either color set. http://www.gmcomputertraining.com.au/InDesign.html

13.01.2022 Colour gamut the complete range of viewable color available on the device. Honestly, this is less of a concern than many people make it out to be, unless your focus is on photography or printed design projects. The reality is this: No matter how great the color is on your end, it will display based on the equipment of the user. Most displays, including Apple and Windows operating systems are made to be sRGB compliant. http://www.gmcomputertraining.com.au/Blog-Colour.html
13.01.2022 How many times have you tried to explain to your client why the logo from their website won’t work on their trade show booth? If you’re like me, the answer is about a bazillion. The next time you start blabbing on about the difference between raster vs. vector files (all while your client develops an über confused look on his face), just send ‘em the link to this easy-to-understand instead.
