24.01.2022 Another Exciting day in the office! Today we welcomed Cara Devereux to the GMG Team! Cara will be a part of our Reception and Administration Team. Cara was born and raised in Swan Hill and has spent the last three years at University in Melbourne. When Cara isn't at work she enjoys teaching dance classes and hanging out with friends! ... There are a few in the office already looking forward to learning some new dance moves!

17.01.2022 Exciting day in our virtual offices today as we celebrate Jess White's, Partner of GMG, 10 Year work anniversary! Jess grew up in the small country town of Charlton and got to experience all the wonderful things growing up in a country town has to offer: Being part of various sporting clubs, spending summer afternoons at the local swimming pool, riding in the truck at harvest and having close relationships with extended family. Jess attended Charlton Primary School and Charlt...on P-12 College, once completing year 12 she packed up off to Bendigo to study accounting at La Trobe University. In 2006 Jess graduated with a double degree of Business (Accounting) and Computing. Jess then moved to Swan Hill to start her career in accounting. In 2009 Jess completed her CPA and since then has completed her ASIC SMSF Auditor Registration, Solicitor Trust Account Registration and CPA Public Practice certificate. Jess was a key driver in GMG opening our Chartlon office in 2012, which Jess and other staff still attend on a weekly basis, allowing us to service the Charlton community. In 2018 Jess became a partner of GMG Financial Group, she has over 14 years’ experience in accounting, taxation and business. Her passion is helping clients in their business and achieving her goals. Although this is an impressive CV it could be said her greatest achievements over the 10 years are her two beautiful daughters Hannah and Claire she had with partner, Whitey, and winning three hockey premierships! Its been 10 fantastic years and the whole firm is looking forward to many many more!

16.01.2022 Exciting week in the office (remote office) this week as we welcome to the team Torben McFarlane. Torben joins GMG as a Graduate Accountant. Torben grew up a country boy in Mildura. He then went to Adelaide where he studied at Flinders University, completing his Bachelor majoring in Accounting and Finance in 2019. ... Outside of work Torben is a keen basketballer, enjoys watching demons play (even when there losing) and spending time with family and friends! We look forward to people popping in to welcome Torben to GMG and the town when the office reopens!
