In todays increasingly disposable society, a lot of whats being produced will never last to be handed down for future generations. "Fine" doesnt just have to mean expensive. Quality in design and workmanship can be affordable if you seek out jewellers who focus on their craft & you look at the long term benifits. I see way to many pieces of jewellery made to a consumable price point that will simply not last and require constant repair work that sometimes can run into more than what was paid in the first place.
