Some simple tips to avoid watching our behind for the trip home: ...# Dont trust your fuel guage! Know exactly how much you have and allow plenty in reserve. Sea conditions change quickly which significantly affects fuel consumption. We know fuel is expensive to buy but its better than swimming home. # Check filters regularly - water in fuel causes lots of problems. Try to fill tanks after each trip to minimize the chance of condensation building up and ruining your day. # Keep old fuel for your lawnmower - its easier to push than your boat! # Check hoses and fittings carefully. Fuel and vapours in the bilge can end in lots of tears! # We dont deliver fuel - only friendly smiles! 11.01.2022 A deep low-pressure system is travelling towards WA, bringing heavy rain and strong winds for nearly the whole of the west coast this Sunday! This is a rare... event for this time of year and its due to the remnants of a tropical low tracking towards WA and interacting with a cold front, causing the low to deepen. The last time an event like this occurred was June 2012, which led to over 600 calls for assistance and over 170,000 homes losing power. Bureau of Meteorology has produced an animation to show the predicted track for the low-pressure system, which will determine areas predicted to cop the worst of the weather.
