22.01.2022 MONDAY MADNESS All in a great way though! We are beyond thankful with the amount of orders coming through day and night. Its amazing that so many of us are shopping online and supporting one another, especially whilst all the madness is going on in the world. Just a reminder that Australia Post are having longer delays than usual due to the influx of parcels and mail that is being sent out. This is a quote that one of our staff came across this week and our team here at GND Fitness thought was so relevant for our current situation which we discussed for quite a while. The world is changing so much and will continue to change after this virus has been and gone and I think that is a scary thought for so many of us but if we take a weakness (fear of the unknown future) and turn it into a strength by e...mbracing the new ways early/right away and be really be conscious of learning about these new ways and maintain a positive mentality rather than resist the change that is inevitably happening all around us, we believe it will really help get us all through the transition and put us on an even better spot when its all done and dusted, compared to before. Embrace change and be an early adopter to come out on top, was the key point that came out of our discussion . We would love to hear from our GND Club on what you think will be the big changes we will see in our little world of fitness and exercise? . 19.01.2022 REPOST // The legend @joshcowanconditioning showing us how its done . . WHY A FOAM ROLLER? .... There are 2 benefits to using a foam roller here: . 1) Less load on lower back . No matter who you are, what level you are at, If you do 10 reps at 5.1.5.1 tempo with a banded squat you will absolutely feel your lower back blowing by the end. . Thats 120 seconds where three bands are trying to pull me into lumbar and thoracic flexion (rounding of mid-lower back). To make sure they dont, my erectors (the muscles which erect the spine) are working very hard. Leaving with a burning sensation come the end. . Now as seen in the video, if we place the foam roller behind us against the wall, we can stay much more upright and negate any lower back pain! . 2) Friction . As we all have minimal load to use right now, creating additional forces is advantageous. By rolling the foam roller up and down here, we have created friction and thus an an additional force. This means more tension will be placed on the quad. . 2 big benefits here to give you a reason to try out! . Try this one supersetted after a 30/45/60 sec iso wall sit! Disgusting. See more

11.01.2022 We are well and truly into the silly season and with the lead up to Christmas we have the easiest guilt free treat that takes less than 15 minutes to whip up! Save this recipe and thank us later INGREDIENTS 3 cups of wholegrain oats 3 tablespoons raw cacao... 1 cups of natural nut butter cup of GND vanilla or chocolate protein powder a cup of shredded coconut 3 tablespoon of sunflower seeds 2 teaspoons of Natvia (optional) 5-6 tablespoons of water METHOD 1 Blend ingredients in food processor until smooth. 2 Roll into balls and roll in desiccated or shredded coconut. 3 Set in the fridge until firm. Designate an area of your home, specifically for getting work done. This could be an empty or spare bedroom that you convert to a home office. Be sure your workspace is quiet and to be shut off from the rest of the house, so you can focus on the task at hand. 2 Dont Work in Your PJs... We know this is one reason why people love working from home. If you enjoy working in your PJs, then you are killing your productivity. Beyond psychologically getting you in the right mindset for work, youll be ready to handle any kind of video chat or check-in with a teammate. Think about this, would you workout in your PJs? No need to wait until your birthday, enjoy these delicious cookies all year round Save this post for when you’re looking to bake something sweet INGREDIENTS ... cup GND Vanilla Whey Protein Powder 1 cup peanut butter (smooth and runny works best) 2/3 cup monk fruit sweetener 1 large egg 1 tablespoon sprinkles METHOD: 1 Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking tray with baking paper 2 In a mixing bowl, combine protein powder, peanut butter, and egg and mix just until just combined 3 Add sprinkles and fold through 4 Form 12 cookie dough balls and place on the baking tray 5 Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges brown. 6 Remove from the oven and let sit until the cookies are cooled completely 7 Enjoy!

01.01.2022 Were all about pumping iron #gains but we are also all about getting rid of the iron that our bodies dont need. Garth here and a fun fact for you all, I have a little thing called haemochromatosis. What is that you ask? Its simply having too much iron in your body and for me every 8 to 12 weeks I have blood drawn to bring the iron levels in my body down.
