21.01.2022 The U11 reds played superb hockey today. They played as a team, with everyone on the pitch being involved. Their ability to move the ball through every line on the pitch was so exciting to watch. The urgency in the goal circle paid off this week with a 8-1 win over Briars. #gns #gnsjuniors

17.01.2022 The Annual GNS AGM is on next Tuesday 10th November at 7:30pm at the Greengate. We need representation from Women’s, Men’s and Juniors so please come along and have some input or just to escape the house for a beer #doh

15.01.2022 It’s a beautiful day for hockey so let’s get out there and support our club! We are calling on everyone to come down to Pennant Hills at 5pm today to support the Men’s 2s. For junior players you will see Andrew (U9 coach), Kieren (U11 coach), Jamie, Josh, Rory and Nige (all U13 coaches) in action! They are playing Ryde and both teams have not lost a game this season so this is going to be a big game. Plus if we get a cheer squad big enough to help them win they have promised a public performance of Sweet Caroline! Although don’t tell them that . 11.01.2022 U9 Koalas had their first game for the season this morning; half the team had their first ever hockey game and they were superstars. The team started off like bees to a hive on the ball but they quickly discovered that spreading out was more effective and passed the ball like professionals up the wings to come out on top with a 4-0 win against ND. Go Koala’s!

09.01.2022 A huge congratulations to Grace Jeffrey who has been selected into the 2021 Women’s National Development Team from which the 2022 Hockeyroos squad will be announced! More inspiration for our youngsters here at GNS and all of NSW. Well done Grace!

08.01.2022 Council go to vote in two weeks to decide the fate of Barra Brui. We need you to sign this petition in favour of a new synthetic field in Ku-ring-gai. Once KHC is deemed too unsafe for us to play on, in the very near future, we will no longer have a home ground! It takes 1 minute to sign and then 1 minute to share. This will not only be a great facility for our club but also for local schools that currently have to travel to hockey fields. 07.01.2022 A heap of fun was had last Wednesday for the Easter training. Thanks to Kieren, one of our newly appointed Junior Club Captains, for running the show! We hope to see more of you there this Wednesday night 6:30-8pm.

06.01.2022 Most Juniors games have been cancelled this weekend due to the rain but the U13 Reds managed to play last night before it hit. They started their season with a bang, a 5-0 win at Sydney Uni! Well done all #gnsjuniors

04.01.2022 The Hockeyroos squad for 2021 has been announced and GNS is so proud to congratulate Courtney Schonell who has been selected. This is a remarkable achievement for a remarkable player! Courtney had a phenomenal 2020 season with GNS ending up as top goal scorer in the Sydney Women's League with 14 goals in a short season. Good luck to Courtney who will focus now on being selected into the Olympic squad for the July games in Tokyo. @_courtney_10_ you are an inspiration for our GNS Juniors!!!
