02.01.2022 YOUR JOURNEY CAN BE JUST AS EXTRAORDINARY AS THE DESTINATION. Spanning 2,400 kilometres from north to south, Western Australia is the largest state you’ll visit down under, though you’ll find it really easy to travel around all five of its diverse regions. DRIVE WA... A driving holiday in WA is one of the best ways to experience the State’s diverse landscapes. A huge choice of short and extended itineraries will help you get the most out of your self-drive adventure on the coast, in the outback and in the forests and wine regions of WA. In some remote areas of the outback, you can even opt to travel in the safety of a small convoy, led by an experienced 4WD tag-along tour guide. Bring along your driver’s licence and rent a car, 4WD, motorbike or motorhome from a local or state-wide hire company. TOURS Throughout Western Australia, there are plenty of professional guides keen to share authentic insights, local secrets, wildlife encounters and a real sense of adventure. Organised tours are a great way to make sure you don’t miss a thing. Search tours. COACHES AND BUSES State-wide coach and bus services offer hop-on, hop-off travel passes, giving you the flexibility to design your own itinerary. The main operators include TransWA, South West Coach Lines (offering an express coach from Perth to the South West) and Integrity Coach Lines (servicing Perth to Broome, either via the coastal highway or via Tom Price/Karijini). Some guided coach tours will also drop off at designated points, so you can continue your travels independently.
